The stator coil has a wire with an end segment and the stator frame includes a connector and a conductor. The conductor has an open-barrel crimping portion and a temporary holding portion. The method further comprises positioning the end segment of the wire in the crimping portion and a tip end of the end segment in the temporary holding portion.
