  • Patent number: 6973944
Abstract: A collapsible apparatus (10) recovers and dispenses packaging material. The collapsible apparatus (10) includes a receptacle (20) that is permeable to air. A disc (30) defines a lower end of the receptacle (20). A collection tube (36) is slideably received in a hole (34) of the disc (30) and has an inlet (38) outside the receptacle (20) and an outlet (40) inside the receptacle (20). A fan (60) is mounted to the disc (30) and communicated with the collection tube (36) to form a vacuum in the collection tube (36). The vacuum pulls the packaging material through the collection tube (36) and deposits the packaging material in the receptacle (20). A discharge valve (81) is a scissors valve that extends through the disc (30) for discharging packaging material from the receptacle (20).

  • Patent number: 5503305
Abstract: A spherical liquid dispensing system which can easily be handled by one person. This system is made from a substantially uniformly molded sphere supplied with a reinforced neck for filling and dispensing. The sphere further has a flange about its outer circumference to facilitate mounting in a stackable rectangular support frame. This spherical liquid dispensing system can be supplied with a standard solid cap or a cap with valves including a first valve to allow for the pressurization of the sphere, a second valve to dispense the contained liquid and a third valve for pressure relief. The threads and sealing surface on the neck of the sphere are designed to release contained pressure before releasing the cap and to vent the contained pressure downward from the cap.

  • Patent number: 5199645
Abstract: A conversion kit for converting an existing sprinkler system liquid supply line into a general purpose soluble chemical application device is used to apply insecticides or fertilizer. The easily installed kit mixes dry chemicals with an existing pressurized liquid to form and expel appropriate treatment solution. Spent dry chemicals can be easily replaced in a removable canister. Chemicals from conventional bulk packages or specially prepared packets may be used. A safety interlock shutoff valve is provided to prevent pressurization of the system while chemicals are being replaced. A vacuum breaking air vent valve is provided to allow drainage of liquid from the system. All components are enclosed within and supported by a single housing. The housing is preferably molded from a durable plastic material.
