  • Publication number: 20140327251
Abstract: Door latch security devices for maintaining doors closed may comprise latch engagement arms configured to obstruct a swinging arm of a door latch from disengaging from a fixed bar of the door latch. A support member may be connected to the latch engagement arms. The support member may be configured to contact the swinging arm of a door latch to support the door latch security device on the door latch. A channel may be defined between the latch engagement arms. The channel may be sized to at least partially receive a swinging arm and a fixed bar of a door latch within the channel.

  • Publication number: 20040194736
Abstract: Engine cooling system and method for making same wherein an engine, engine casing, or component thereof or a component related thereto has at least one cooling fin (18) having at least a portion of an edge surface (32) including an engraved, or intagliated portion (40). Preferably the surface edge includes a plurality of itagliated portions (40) with each portion including at least two elongated concavities being in preselected orientation and relationship to each other to improve the cooling efficiency of the fin and thus allow the engine to operate in wider, more extreme range of temperatures and environments. The present invention is particularly well suited, but not limited to air-cooled engines and related components such as component covers, inspection/access covers, and oil coolers and is therefore readily adaptable to engines used to propel motor vehicles such as, but not limited to, motorcycles.

  • Patent number: 4469259
Abstract: A baby carrier which carries a baby facing in or out with equal comfort has a pouch panel connected at its upper edge to a shoulder strap and at its lower edge to a waist strap. After passing over the wearer's shoulders, the shoulder strap connects to middle straps which are attached to the sides of the pouch panel. The waist strap fits snugly, entirely around the wearer, such that the lower portion of the pouch panel extends outwardly from the waist strap to form the bottom support for the baby.
