  • Publication number: 20230191189
Abstract: An incline mechanism for a treadmill includes a threaded rod supported by an upright structure. The threaded rod and a lift motor are connected to the upright support above the front end of an exercise deck. The threaded rod is threaded onto a threaded coupler. The threaded coupler is connected to a lift trolley connected to the front end of the exercise deck. As the lift motor rotates the threaded rod, the threaded coupler may move along the length of the threaded rod, thereby changing the inclination of the exercise deck.

  • Publication number: 20230181993
Abstract: A console for an exercise device includes a translational mechanism and a rotational mechanism. During operation, a component of the exercise device may prevent rotation or at least partially obscure the user's view of the display. The translational mechanism may move the console out of the way of the component so that the console may be moved and the display visible to the user when performing an exercise activity while dismounted from the exercise device.

  • Patent number: 10702736
Abstract: Embodiments relate to exercise systems, and more particularly to adjustable exercise cycles. In accordance with at least some aspects, a stationary exercise cycle includes an incline mechanism that adjusts an incline of an upright support structure. The incline mechanism is aligned with a portion of an upright support structure on which a handle bar assembly is mounted. In some cases, the exercise cycle includes a console that can be rotated for viewing when not riding on the exercise cycle. The exercise cycle can also include an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the position of a seat or the handle bar assembly. The adjustment mechanism can include a cam-based locking mechanism for selectively securing the seat or handle bar assembly in place.

  • Patent number: 6629048
Abstract: A measurement test instrument voltage management system for an accessory device has a accessory device interface that provides a voltage to a memory device in the accessory device. A sensing circuit receives a sensing signal from the accessory device when it is connected to the interface. The sensing circuit generates an interrupt signal that is coupled to a controller. The controller initiates the generation of a clock signal that is coupled to the accessory device through the interface to retrieve accessory device data stored in the device memory. The controller determines if the connected accessory device is a valid device capable of being supported by the measurement test instrument. The controller generates an enable signal for a valid and supported device that is coupled to a voltage switching circuit. The voltage switching circuit generates at least a first output voltage that is coupled to the accessory device via the interface to provide power to the accessory device.

  • Patent number: 5656102
Abstract: Rolled articles such as hot rolled or cold rolled and annealed sheet and/or strip include effective amounts of vanadium in low carbon steels to produce an improved bake hardenable product especially adapted for automotive use. The use of vanadium in the alloy steel chemistry controls bake hardenability, permits solution annealing at lower temperatures in its manufacturing sequence and specifies a composition range which is more easily cast within desired limits and causes less variation in final mechanical properties. Controlling the vanadium to carbon ratio to maintain a value of about 10 or greater also improves aging resistance.
