  • Publication number: 20220318829
Abstract: A method for forecasting part sales, including collecting sales data for a part over a series of sales time periods and collecting activity data for a plurality of activity types over a series of activity time periods for a plurality of machines including the part. A mean activity time can be calculated for each activity type for each time period in the series of activity time periods based on the collected activity data. An activity probability density function of the mean activity times for each activity type is created and a machine learning model is trained using an expectation of activity derived from the probability density functions for each activity type and the collected sales data. Machine activity data for a set of machines can be fed into the trained model to derive a part sales probability density function for the set of machines.

  • Patent number: 10930121
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a system which includes a plurality of baccarat tables on which a baccarat game may be played by a plurality of players and a plurality of electronic player devices each playable by an individual player provides for selecting a plurality of outcomes which were dealt on at least one of the baccarat tables, determining whether a trend or pattern has developed in the plurality of outcomes (e.g., a pattern of at least a predetermined length) and, if a pattern has developed, activating a wagering opportunity on one of the electronic player devices, the wagering opportunity allowing a player to bet for or against the trend. In one embodiment, each outcome of the plurality of selected outcomes comprises an outcome originally dealt on the same baccarat table.

  • Patent number: 7604744
Abstract: A method is provided for maintaining a biomass disposed on a substrate in a bioreactor tank. The bioreactor tank has an inlet and an outlet in fluid communication with a waste treatment system whereby an influent fluid may be selectively introduced through the inlet into the bioreactor tank for removal of waste material therefrom. This produces an effluent fluid which can be returned through the outlet to the waste treatment system. The method comprises processing a quantity of influent fluid through the bioreactor tank to produce a quantity of effluent fluid and removing the effluent fluid from the bioreactor tank through the outlet. The method further comprises isolating the bioreactor tank from the waste treatment system and establishing a set of dry cycle conditions in the bioreactor tank. The dry cycle conditions are selected to effect endogenous growth within at least a portion of the biomass whereby an average age of the at least a portion of the biomass may be tailored.

  • Publication number: 20060252530
Abstract: A technique is disclosed for displaying filtered casino-related information on a mobile device. In one implementation aspects of the inventions may be embodied in a mobile device which includes at least one interface operable to provide a wireless communication link to other network device in a casino data network. According to various embodiments, casino information relating to various casino activities may be acquired by the mobile device and/or other devices in the casino network. Geolocation information relating to a current location of the mobile device may also be acquired. A first set of filter parameters may be identified and/or generated for use in generating filtered casino information. Filtered casino information may be generated by applying the first set of filter parameters and geolocation information to the acquired casino information. At least a portion of the filtered information may be displayed to a user via a display at the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20060225728
Abstract: A device for releasing a vapour comprises a first sachet of a vapour releasing substance and a second sachet containing a substance adapted, when activated, to initiate an exothermic reaction, the heat from the reaction being operative to release the vapour from the substance in the first sachet. The sachets may be inserted into a mitt, sleeve or pouch adapted to receive a first sachet on top of a second sachet. A packaging container 1 for the device is adapted to be deployed so as to form a pocket between lids 3, 4 to accept the mitt, sleeve or pouch. The exothermic reaction produced by the second sachet reaches an average temperature of around 40-70° C. after about 1.5 to 2 hours. The first sachet contains beads or granules impregnated with the vapour-releasing substance, which may be a decongestant or an insecticide or may be for ambience or aromatherapy use.

  • Publication number: 20050170892
Abstract: A data presentation system that allows a user to view information from a game network in real-time is disclosed. Information is collected from a game network and stored in a data repository. Data is gathered from the data repository, filtered, formatted, and displayed on a viewer of a user machine connected to the data presentation system. A user can select from a number of data views and customize the views, thus ensuring that the desired information is available to the user. Information is updated at a pre-selected rate, or as the network allows. Information may be retained for a period of time, for example, for a shift period. Pre-filtering of data can provide notice to a user when predetermined network events occur.
