  • Patent number: 11891804
Abstract: A ceiling system which includes support beams, elongated covers that at least partially cove the support beams, and baffles which attach to the support beams. The support beams may have a vertical web portion, a flange portion at a top end of the vertical web portion, and bulb portion at a bottom end of the vertical web portion. The elongated may have a cover body and a cover slot in a top surface of the cover body. The elongated covers may be mounted to the support beams so that the bulb portions of the support beams are located within the cover slots of the elongated covers. The baffles may extend between and be mounted to adjacent ones of the plurality of support beams so that the baffles extends into notches of the elongated covers and the bulb portions of the support beams are located within slots of the baffle.

  • Publication number: 20110309584
Abstract: The present invention relates to a form of lap joint for forming a water-tight joint between sheet materials comprising a sealant strip between 2 sheets of material, the sheets of material being held about the sealant strip by means of a plurality of fasteners. The sealant strip comprises a pliable sealant material in which is embedded, along the length of the strip, one or more elastomeric cords. The invention provides an improved form of construction such that sealant in a non-hardened form, such as before setting or when of a non-setting form is not extruded from a joint overtime and thus the integrity of the joint is maintained.

  • Publication number: 20110308701
Abstract: A mastic sealing strip comprising a continuous sealant composition in which are located deformable offsetting particles for, in use, defining a minimum thickness of the sealing strip when placed between two surfaces to be sealed. The Young's modulus of the deformable offsetting particles is between 0.1 GPa and 15 GPa. The strip enables glass panels to be sealed with a much reduced incidence of cracking.

  • Publication number: 20070289539
Abstract: Feed dispenser has opening at bottom surrounded by a seat upon which a ball check is adapted to rest, thereby to seal the opening and prevent the discharge of feed. Feed lever secured to ball check can be nudged upwardly by swine to elevate ball check to unseal opening, and can be nudged laterally by piglet to rotate ball check on the seat so that a crevice in the ball check can be brought below opening to drop feed into feed pit.

  • Patent number: 6644081
Abstract: A system and method for adjusting the orientation of trim tabs on a helicopter rotor blade includes a gage, a bender and a calibrator plate. The gage is secured to the calibrator plate which holds the gage in an orientation that simulates a rotor blade with trim tabs at zero degrees so that the gage can be zeroed. The gage is then removed and positioned on a rotor blade. Because the gage is supported on the blade by rollers, it is free to roll along the length of the blade and may thereby be positioned and repositioned quickly. Once in position, the bender is applied to the trim tabs adjacent to the gage and tightened using thumb screws. The handle of the bender allows the trim tabs to be adjusted while verifying that the amount of adjustment indicated by the gage dial indicator matches the preselected angle.

  • Patent number: 6101975
Abstract: Feed hopper for a sow has opening at bottom surrounded by a seat upon which a ball check is adapted to rest, thereby to seal the opening and prevent the discharge of feed therethrough. A sow can nudge upwardly the ball check, unsealing the opening and permitting the discharge of feed from the hopper. Vertically adjustable means limit upward movement of the ball check so as to limit the maximum extent to which the opening can be unsealed. A water button, operatively connected to a source of water, can be nudged by the sow to discharge water for her.
