  • Patent number: 7234720
Abstract: A trailer apparatus is for use with a portable bleacher of the type having a lower framework supporting and interconnecting a plurality of generally parallel longitudinally extending bleacher seat assemblies. The framework includes longitudinally spaced laterally extending base members. The trailer apparatus includes a torque tube rotatably attached to a lower part of the bleacher framework and above the base members to extend beneath and generally perpendicular to the seat assemblies. A torque arm is rigidly attached to one end of the torque tube. A first wheel assembly is rotatably coupled to the torque arm on an axis of rotation parallel to the torque tube axis. A generally vertically or horizontally extendable lift jack is coupled at a lower end to the torque arm and operatively coupled at its upper end to the framework.

  • Publication number: 20060070199
Abstract: An easily and quickly assembleable bleacher includes basic light-weight component which can be assembled by one person, if necessary, and without the use of tools. The assembly includes a latching and locking mechanism for attaching the seat boards, foot boards and riser boards without the use of fasteners, and most of the other connections are made with pinned connections that save time and assembly. The upper guard rails are attached to lie in a slight rearwardly angled plane that provides comfort for the spectators and also facilitates assembly.

  • Patent number: 6499258
Abstract: A portable bleacher construction includes a wheeled framework for supporting a plurality of bleacher seats thereon in a mobile travel condition and a stationary seating condition. At least one pair of leveling jacks is located on opposite sides of the framework for stabilizing and leveling the framework upon a ground surface when the portable bleacher construction is in the stationary seating condition. The jacks are arranged to provide a four-point stance for the framework, and have a high sway load capacity to provide lateral stability. A control arrangement is associated with one of the jacks in each pair for separately controlling the leveling of both of the jacks. The control arrangement is located on one side of the bleacher construction, and enables operation of leveling jacks on both sides. The control arrangement includes a pair of transfer rods and a separate operating handle interconnected with each transfer rod.

  • Patent number: 6116681
Abstract: A picnic table is provided which includes a generally flat, horizontal table top and first and second pairs of leg support members for supporting the table top above a supporting surface. Each leg support member is generally J-shaped and has a first end mounted to the underside of the table top, and a second end mounted to the underside of a seat by a mounting assembly which supports each seat and braces the seat against a corresponding leg support member. First and second seats are mounted on a single side of the picnic table in a spaced relation so as to allow an individual confined to a wheelchair access to the table top of the picnic table therebetween.
