  • Patent number: 12138511
Abstract: A formulation for making at least one element of a golf ball, wherein the formulation includes: (i) from 50 weight percent to 95 weight percent of a thermoplastic composition comprising: (1) at least one ethylene acid copolymer consisting essentially of copolymerized comonomers of: (A) ethylene, and (B) from 5 weight percent to 25 weight percent of at least one ?,?-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid having from 3 carbon atoms to 8 carbon atoms, based on the total weight of monomers present in the ethylene acid copolymer; wherein the acid moieties of component (1) are neutralized to a level of from 25 percent to 220 percent; and (ii) from 5 weight percent to 50 weight percent of a crosslinked material having a gel content of at least 80 weight percent, wherein the crosslinked material is a crosslinked elastomer, a crosslinked rubber, or a blend of a crosslinked elastomer and a crosslinked rubber; a process for making the above formulation; at least one element of a multilayer golf ball and a process for

  • Patent number: 8451980
Abstract: Test systems and methods are disclosed for determining the cause of an extended off-hook condition on a subscriber line. A test system as described herein measures a first resistance of the subscriber line based on a first current, and also measures a second resistance of the subscriber line based on a second current. The test system then determines the difference between the first and second resistance measurements. If the difference between the first and second resistance measurements is greater than a threshold value, such as 20 Ohms or more, then the test system determines that the extended off-hook condition is the result of an off-hook telephone on the subscriber line. If the difference is less than the threshold value, then the test system determines that the extended off-hook condition is the result of a short circuit on the subscriber line.

  • Publication number: 20090006018
Abstract: A quality management system is provided, having a first workstation including a first graphical user interface configured to display information regarding at least one process and a second workstation located remote from the first workstation and including a second graphical user interface configured to display information regarding the at least one process. The system may also include a computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions for collecting and storing data from the at least one process. The computer-readable medium may also include instructions for displaying, on the first graphical user interface, information derived from the collected data in real-time with respect to the collection of the data. Further, computer-readable medium may include instructions for transferring the collected data, or the information derived from the collected data, to the second workstation and displaying, on the second graphical user interface, the information derived from the collected data.
