Patent number: 10091132Abstract: Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for conflict resolution. A method can include identifying, by processing circuitry, whether a conflict exists between two or more nodes requesting access to a resource, in response to identifying a conflict exists, identifying a priority value for each of the nodes in conflict, the priority value for each of the nodes consistent with a probability distribution of possible priority values for each respective node, comparing the identified priority values to determine which priority value of the identified priority values corresponds to a highest priority value, and allocating access to the resource to the node corresponding to the determined highest priority value.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2016Date of Patent: October 2, 2018Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventor: Keith C. Patent number: 7986774Abstract: A call schedule is received that includes a plurality of sample calls to be made by an automated calling station. The plurality of sample calls are automatically placed on the network using the automated calling station. At least one final billing record corresponding to the at least one completed sample call is received. The call data is processed to determine billed cost data. The billed cost data is compared to the previous cost data and a change in the rate plan is detected based on the comparison of the billed cost data to the previous cost data.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2007Date of Patent: July 26, 2011Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: James A. Patent number: 7394424Abstract: The present invention concerns methods and apparatus for implementing a true-time-delay wideband digital beamformer. In true-time-delay wideband digital beamformers of the present invention, improved control over beam properties formed by the combination of the beamformer and a multi-element antenna coupled to the beamformer is achieved through finer control of delays imparted to data signals. In beamformers of the present invention, data is delayed using a coarse control that provides a delay in whole increments of a clock cycle of a digital clock reference and a fine control that provides a delay corresponding to a fraction of a whole clock cycle of the digital clock reference. In the true time delay method of the present invention, transmission and reception across a wide frequency band is accommodated. In the true time delay method of the present invention, multiple simultaneous beams are formed independently, beam-to-beam, across a wide frequency band.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2005Date of Patent: July 1, 2008Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventors: Carl O. Patent number: 5268701Abstract: An improved dual polarized antenna element for use in planar array antennas. The antenna element includes a conductive sheet having a forwardly positioned notch and a pair of spaced rearwardly extending slot portions formed therein. The notch is adapted for coupling radio frequency energy between free space and the antenna element and the pair of slot portions are electrically coupled to the notch. A power divider/combiner is provided and is preferably interconnected with a power combiner/divider through branches of equal phase length. With this arrangement, reactive power divider induced off-axis scan blindness caused by an odd mode coupled field is prevented. Additionally, an antenna module comprising a pair of such antenna elements disposed in intersecting relationship is provided with a coincident phase center.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 1993Date of Patent: December 7, 1993Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventor: Keith C.
