One method includes receiving, via a communication session from a user device, a merchant voucher distributed by a merchant, and initiating an ATM session. The method further includes determining a value of the merchant voucher, and presenting, via a display interface of the ATM, a request for the determined value. The method further includes receiving a deposit regarding the determined value of the merchant voucher, and converting the merchant voucher to at least one of a token or a code, the at least one of the token or the code being embedded with an indicator regarding the determined value, information regarding the merchant voucher, and a unique identifier. The method further includes transmitting, to the user device, the at least one of the token or the code, and updating a ledger of the merchant.
