  • Patent number: 8631620
Abstract: A building wall system includes first and second barrier panels, and an exterior facade system. Each panel includes an inner sheet and an outer sheet with a foam core positioned between the inner and outer sheets. Each of the inner and outer sheets defines an inner surface and an outer surface, respectively. A joint is defined by the first and second barrier panels. The exterior facade is secured to the first and second barrier panels via a fastener extending through the outer and inner sheets of the first barrier panel and the inner sheet of the second barrier panel without penetrating the inner surfaces of the first and second barrier panels.

  • Publication number: 20110252731
Abstract: A wall panel includes a panel body, a first jamb clip, a second jamb clip, a bottom member, and an attachment clip. The first jamb clip is positioned adjacent to a right side of the panel body and the second jamb clip is positioned adjacent to a left side of the panel body. The first and second jamb clips are each configured to receive a portion of a spline. The bottom member has an engagement portion and is positioned adjacent to a bottom end of the panel body. The attachment clip is positioned adjacent to an upper end of the panel body and has an engagement receiving portion configured to engage an engagement portion of an adjacent panel. The bottom end of the panel body is configured to define a ventilation gap when joined to an adjacent panel.

  • Patent number: 4400922
Abstract: A panel mounting clip assembly is adapted to connect the intermediate longitudinal ribs of panel members and the rib-like joints between adjacent ones of the panel members to panel support members. The clip assembly comprises a base member that is fastened to the panel support member and a top clip that is frictionally engaged with interior surfaces of the ribs or joints to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction of the panels. The top clip-to-base member connection provides for movement of the top clip transversely of the length of the panel member thereby to accommodate rib-to-clip and joint-to-clip misalignments. The top clip-to-base member connection also provides for limited universal movement of the top clip relative to the base member to accommodate any inherent minor distortions in the profile of the intermediate ribs or the panel elements of the rib-like joint. A roof or wall structure utilizing the panel mounting clip assembly is described.
