Patent number: 11954461Abstract: A system for autonomously delivering software features is disclosed. The system parses data obtained from a variety of sources, and extracts source concepts from the parsed data to generate models for inclusion in a set of agglomerated models. Over time, additional data from the variety of sources may be utilized to update the set of agglomerated models. The updated agglomerated models may be analyzed by the system to determine whether new features and/or functionality may be added to an application under evaluation by the system. In the event that new features and/or functionality may be added to the application under evaluation, the system may automatically generate code corresponding to the new features and/or functionality and incorporate that features and/or functionality into the application under evaluation.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2020Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: UKG Inc.Inventors: Keith A. Briggs, Brian R. Muras, Andrew Ferguson

Publication number: 20170282269Abstract: Disclosed is a method of brazing articles together to form at least one braze defined by complementarily curved faying surfaces on the articles, the faying surfaces each having at least one region of curvature comprising at least one point from which the surface curves in more than one direction, the method comprising the steps of: a) disposing between the complementarily curved faying surfaces at least one amorphous brazing alloy preform of complementary curvature at least in part to said at least one region of the complementarily curved faying surfaces to conform to the complementarily curved faying surfaces in said region; and b) heating the articles and at least one amorphous brazing alloy preform to a brazing temperature at which the amorphous brazing alloy flows and brazes. and brazing alloy preforms for use in such methods.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2015Publication date: October 5, 2017Applicant: Morgan Advanced Ceramics, Inc.Inventors: Alan DEMMONS, Keith FERGUSON, Anthony ARENA

Publication number: 20040072508Abstract: The invention relates to methods for treating ceramic surfaces to decrease their wettability by aqueous solutions. One method involves polishing the ceramic surface until wettability is decreased, and a second method involves a silane heat treatment. Both methods can be used to produce ceramic supports for IEF and electrophoresis gels, as well as microarray plates.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2003Publication date: April 15, 2004Inventors: Cheng-Tsin Lee, Keith A. Ferguson, Esteban V. Herreria

Publication number: 20020082950Abstract: A product planning development and program management information system and method is disclosed. This system is accessible by a plurality of users. The system includes a communications network with a server computer in communication with the communications network and a client computer in communication with the communications network. A first program runs on the server computer. The first program is configured to provide access to a product planning environment through the client computer. The product planning environment has fields for entry of a target price and has fields for displaying a calculated price. The calculated price is based on selections of product characteristics and part selections being made by a user of the first program. The first program provides a display of the product as configured by the user. Further, a second program is in communication with the first program. The second program uses data from the first program and is configured to provide product program management functions.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 5, 2001Publication date: June 27, 2002Applicant: JOHNSON CONTROLS TECHNOLOGY COMPANYInventors: Jonathan Stuart Anderson, Simon John Bach, Curtis Albert Bastianelli, Lynn Marie Bosgraaf, Shaun Mark Challoner, Thomas Joseph Czaplicki, Tamara Ann Essenburgh, Stephanie Joy Elhart, Lawrence Alan Fieroh, Gerald Keith Ferguson, Jonathan Brant Karel, James Raymond King, James Gerald Kremkow, Alok Kumar, Reginald Keith Layton, Douglas Norman McLeod, Jeffrey John Reest, Randall Lyle Stroup, Michael John Suman, Nancy Ann Vitale, John Michael Waraniak

Patent number: 5306264Abstract: The ostomy bag includes a multi-stage filter system that provides contamination protection for a deodorizing filter in the system. The multi-stage filter system also includes a gas transmissible protection filter that is impassible to semi-liquid waste material. The protection filter is located in the ostomy bag to precede the deodorizing filter such that gaseous waste must pass through the protection filter before it passes through the deodorizing filter. In one embodiment of the invention wherein the ostomy bag has a single chamber, the protection filter is a two layer structure with different pore counts that overlay the deodorizing filter. In another embodiment of the invention wherein the ostomy bag has dual chambers, the protection filter, without overlaying the deodorizing filter, is disposed across the flow path of gaseous waste to the deodorizing filter such that any gaseous waste that reaches the deodorizing filter must flow through the protection filter.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 1993Date of Patent: April 26, 1994Assignee: E. R. Squibb & Sons, Inc.Inventors: Keith Ferguson, Mark Lesko

Patent number: 4553967Abstract: A pouch having a bottom wall secured to an adhesive layer that can be cut to fit around a wound or surgical opening, gusseted side walls, and a top wall provided with one or more access openings. An irrigation port and a catheter access port can be secured to these top wall openings. The bottom wall extends beyond the adhesive layer and is provided with a large exit port oriented so that gravity will drain wound exudate from the pouch. This exit port is also large enough to accommodate a hand to aid in locating the pouch on the body and permit access to the wound site without removing the pouch from the body.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 1983Date of Patent: November 19, 1985Assignee: E.
