    Abstract: The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVISION OF 3D CONTENT OVER A COMMUNICATION NETWORK (“3D-WCP”) implement on-demand client-independent network streaming of three-dimensional (“3D”) media content. In one embodiment, a 3D media streaming processor-implemented method is disclosed, comprising: obtaining a three-dimensional display media object encoded in a camera-dependent media format; transcoding via a processor the obtained display media object into a transcoded three-dimensional display media object encoded in a device-independent scalable media format; obtaining a request for the transcoded three-dimensional display media object from a client device; and streaming the transcoded three-dimensional display media object to the client device.
