  • Patent number: 10175713
Abstract: An accelerating and braking device is disclosed for a vehicle. The accelerating and braking device includes a support tube pivotably coupled adjacent to the steering column. A brake tube links the control tube with the brake pedal for activating and deactivating the brake pedal. A position sensor is coupled to the control tube. A control engaging the position sensor for producing a variable signal output from the position sensor during rotation of the control. The position sensor electrically coupled to the electronic control module. A first rotational displacement of the position sensor causing an increase in velocity of the vehicle. A second rotational displacement of the position sensor causing a decrease in velocity of the vehicle. A first spring and a second spring engaging the control for causing the second rotational displacement and the decrease in velocity of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20070115075
Abstract: In one aspect, a signal path is described. The signal path has a nominal impedance over a specified bandwidth and interconnects a port of a microwave circuit package and a microwave component mounted in the microwave circuit package. The signal path includes an inductive transition and first and second capacitive structures. The inductive transition extends from a first point on the signal path to a second point on the signal path and has an excess impedance above the nominal impedance. The first and second capacitive structures respectively shunt the first and second points on the signal path to compensate the excess impedance of the inductive transition. The inductive transition and the first and second capacitive structures approximate a filter having an impedance substantially matching the nominal impedance over the specified bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 7213738
Abstract: The present invention relates to a selective wave solder machine. In particular, it relates to a system for calibrating and adjusting process points to account for variations in machines and circuit boards. Vision systems are used to locate fiducials on the processing modules and the circuit boards. Differences between stored locations for fiducials relating to the circuit board and the processing modules are used to adjust the positions of stored process points to achieve improved performance.

  • Patent number: 4993509
Abstract: A vehicle hand control device operable to control the brake pedal or accelerator pedal of a motor vehicle. The device includes an elongated support tube connectable to and along the steering column of the vehicle, a control arm tube pivotally connected at one end to, and extending from, the upper end of the support tube, and a slender, elongated control arm mounted for rotation only within the control arm tube. The control arm includes an elongated handle extending from one end of the control arm, the handle preferably having its longitudinal axis disposed from the longitudinal axis of the control arm. A control arm lever is connected at the other end of the control arm which also extends somewhat beyond the end of the control arm tube.
