Abstract: Methods, software systems, software, and user interfaces for implementing a mode for randomizing testing of monitored individuals (e.g., substance abusers, mental health patients, etc.), notifying the monitored individuals, and/or tracking the adherence of the monitored individuals to the randomized testing. In some embodiments, time-for-testing (TFT) flags are assigned to the monitored individuals according to one or more assigned testing frequencies. A TFT flag schedule randomization algorithm generates a randomized TFT flag schedule as a function of the testing frequencies and one or more sets of testing-available dates of one or more testing locations. In some embodiments, monitored individuals are required to continually check at least one anonymized random-testing notification user interfaces to determine whether or not their assigned TFT has been called such that they are due for random testing.
