The RF signal can be a short pulse generated by an RF front end, without automatic level control. The return signal can be processed without filtering.

    Abstract: A system and method for determining a reliability line rating for a transmission line is disclosed. In response to a line clearance measurement and a line temperature measurement received from a transmission line monitor coupled to a transmission line, the system generates a temperature-clearance model for the transmission line based on the received line clearance measurement and line temperature measurement. The system generates a plurality of past dynamic line ratings and determines a scaling factor based on the plurality of past dynamic line ratings. The system then generates a dynamic line rating for an interval of time in the future and scales the dynamic line rating in response to the scaling factor to obtain a reliability line rating for the interval.

    Abstract: In implementations of creating a communication group, a mobile device can receive a selection to enable communication of location information between devices that correspond to entities from a group of entities associated with a user of the mobile device. The mobile device can receive location information that describes a physical location or proximity of the devices that correspond to the entities, and present in a user interface on a display device, a visual representation that indicates at least one of the entities is at a location within a pre-set distance of the mobile device. A communication group can be created that includes the entities selected from the group of entities associated with the user of the mobile device. The mobile device can also communicate the location information of the mobile device to all of the devices that correspond to the entities as a group communication based on the communication group.

In another embodiment, the tools automatically collect persons from those that the user knows based on one or more criteria. The user may then easily create a communication group of those collected persons, such as by tapping on an area of a mobile device's display.

The dual barrel carburetor includes annular discharge booster venturis associated with a main fuel delivery circuit. An idle circuit opens downstream of the throttle plates. A transfer circuit discharge port is positioned across the throttle plates. The combination of the idle, transfer and main fuel circuits ensures the smooth delivery of fuel throughout all operating conditions of the motorcycle engine. The plenum manifold assembly includes a pair of air passages in fluid communication with one another to permit a final opportunity to optimize the fuel delivery to the respective combustion chambers.
