Patent number: 12235946Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure electronically notarize a document. The system can receive biometric information from a user, extract characteristics from the biometric information, and compare the characteristics of the biometric information with previously stored characteristics of the user's biometric information. When the characteristics of the biometric information match the previously stored characteristics to a threshold, the system can create an identity of the user using the characteristics of the biometric information. The system can send a document to the user for cryptographic signature and receive an indication that the document has been signed. The cryptographic signature can be generated with a digest of the document, the identity, and a cryptographic key associated with the user. The system can inspect the digest of the document, the cryptographic key, and the identity associated with the document to verify authenticity of the document and the identity of the user.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2023Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: David Lindley, Alexander Benetto Nagelberg, Maland Keith Mortensen, Joseph Gregory Delong, Shantanu K. Publication number: 20240179195Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments facilitating a holistic engagement with a user across multiple communication channels of an organization or an enterprise based at least in part on a determined user intent. As users interact with various services associated with the organization through one or more communication channels, interaction data can be captured and stored. In various examples, the interaction data that is stored by the various services can be obtained and organized according to a predefined schema. The organized interaction data can be applied to a trained intent model that outputs a user intent based at least in part on observations of other users with similar histories. The predicted intent can be provided to the different services such that subsequent interactions between the user and the organization can be based at least in part on the intent in a consistent manner, regardless of the communication channel associated with the interaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 2, 2024Publication date: May 30, 2024Inventors: Anil Kumar Bashetty, Swetha Gayam, Mark E. Johnson, Deepak Kumar, Mazhar Ladji, Cong Liu, Zeyu Liu, David Keith Love, Amarnath E. Mahendran, Matthew K. Meyer, Emery Schoenly, Jeremy D. Seideman, Govind Sharma

Patent number: 8732930Abstract: Methods, devices, systems and apparatus of fully knock-down drum fans that can be shipped completely unassembled so that the smallest packaging results in more units per container and lower shipping costs Drum fan design utilizes modular components that can be assembled quickly and easily by the distributor or the end user. Drum fan can include identical shroud curved members, with same number of pie shaped front grill members, and same number of pie shaped rear grill members, and other modular components that are easy to nest, pack, store and ship with one another. The knock-down fan is easy to re-assemble, and can be applied to any size drum fan from approximately 24?, 36?, and 42? to approximately 60? in diameter.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2012Date of Patent: May 27, 2014Assignee: Chien Luen Industries Co., Ltd., Inc.Inventors: John C. Patent number: 8210824Abstract: Methods, devices, systems and apparatus of fully knock-down drum fans that can be shipped completely unassembled so that the smallest packaging is used resulting in more units per container and a lower shipping cost per unit. This allows overseas manufacturers to be more competitive with local manufactures. This is achieved through a drum fan design that utilizes completely modular components that can be assembled quickly and easily either by the distributor of the drum fan or the final end user. A drum fan can include a plural identical shroud curved members, with the same number of pie shaped front grill members, and the same number of pie shaped rear grill members, as well as other modular components that are both easy to nest, pack, store and ship with one another. The knock-down fan will significantly reduce packaging size from approximately 50 to approximately 75% less than current drum fans.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2008Date of Patent: July 3, 2012Assignee: Chien Luen Industries Co., Ltd., Inc.Inventors: John C. Bucher, Brian Keith Love

Patent number: 7377169Abstract: An apparatus and methods for acoustically analyzing a fluid sample and determining one or more properties of the sample are disclosed by the present invention. The apparatus comprises a chamber, a transmitter positioned within the chamber for transmitting an acoustic signal through the fluid, a reflector movably positioned within the fluid inside the chamber for reflecting the acoustic signal, and a receiver positioned within the chamber for detecting reflections of the acoustic signal. The methods employ the use of a transmitter, a reflector movably positioned within the fluid inside the chamber, and a receiver to characterize the fluid sample based on one or more of its acoustic properties.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2004Date of Patent: May 27, 2008Assignee: Shell Oil CompanyInventors: Michael Tolbert Myers, Donald Keith Love, Willem J.
