    Abstract: A three dimensional reconstruction of vessel trees from rotational digital subtraction angiogram sequences is described. The goal of the process is to estimate the probability that each voxel contains a vessel using the projection data. The system utilizes x-ray angiographic equipment capable of producing rotational digital subtraction angiogram sequences. Reconstruction of the geometry of the vasculature is based on the projection images. The reconstructed geometry is then displayed on a screen or used for measuring specific physiological parameters. The Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence is used to combine information about location of the vessels from the different projections contained in the digital subtraction angiogram sequence.
