  • Patent number: 11760069
Abstract: Systems and methods for using, configuring, and manufacturing self-obscuring tamper-evident labels can include producing labels that have adhesive and non-adhesive sides. The non-adhesive side can be configured to receive printing such as machine-readable codes. The labels typically have multiple layers which can be configured for various tasks. For example, one layer can be configured as an irreversible void material that generates indicia upon receiving a certain tension associated with removal from a surface. Another layer may be configured to ease the removal of the label from a surface while another generates deformations under tension. The indicia, deformations, and machine-readable code printed on the non-adhesive side can be configured such that when activated, the indicia render the machine-readable code unreadable via machine.

  • Patent number: 9676533
Abstract: A tamper-evident package includes a flexible web having first and second opposed surfaces, and a tamper-evident layer on at least the first surface. The tamper-evident layer defines a blank space on the web, and includes a first pattern of protected areas and a second pattern of tamper-evident areas. A first semi-rigid outer layer is attached to the first tamper-evident layer so as to adhere only to the tamper-evident areas on the tamper-evident layer, the first semi-rigid outer layer including a transparent portion aligned with the blank space. A second semi-rigid outer layer is attached to the second surface of the web. The blank space may be removed to form a hole in the web, and the second outer layer may include a transparent portion aligned with the hole. A second tamper-evident layer may optionally be provided on the second surface of the web.

  • Patent number: 9188499
Abstract: A subsea retrievable pressure sensor for measuring fluid pressure at a well or other subsea fluid system. In one embodiment, a pressure sensor assembly includes a subsea pressure housing, a first pressure sensor, an electrical connector, a first hydraulic connector, and a latching mechanism. The first pressure sensor is disposed within the housing, and the electrical connector and first hydraulic connector are disposed in wall of the housing. The electrical connector is electrically coupled to the first pressure sensor to communicate electrical power though the housing to the first pressure sensor and to communicate pressure measurement values from the first pressure sensor through the housing. The first hydraulic connector is hydraulically coupled to the first pressure sensor to communicate hydraulic pressure to the first pressure sensor through the housing. The latching mechanism extends through the housing to secure the housing to a subsea receptacle.
