Publication number: 20250315721Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a feature engineering framework for generating task-specific contextual embeddings to improve machine learning model performance, while reducing memory requirements for the performance of a predictive task. The techniques may include identifying a plurality of entity predictive identifiers from historical data objects for an entity. The entity predictive identifiers are used with a task-specific data store to generate a textual entity document for the entity by concatenating a set of contextual text descriptions from the task-specific data store that correspond to a set of task relevant identifiers from the plurality of entity predictive identifiers. The techniques include generating, using a machine learning encoder model, a contextual entity embedding for the entity based on the textual entity document and then training, using the contextual entity embedding, a machine learning classification model for the performance of the predictive task.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 8, 2024Publication date: October 9, 2025Inventors: Conor Power, Colum Foley, Niamh Murphy, Keith Murphy

Patent number: 11708987Abstract: An energy management system is disclosed for optimizing energy usage of HVAC equipment in a building complex. The energy management system is configured to be integrated into an existing Building Automation System (“BAS system”) in order to process the data points in a less time consuming and efficient manner relative to known systems that map one point at a time. The BAS system data points are “point mapped”, i.e., uploaded to a file in the “cloud”, and are updated continuously as a function of time and deposited in a “bucket” in which the data points are unfiltered. These data points can then be filtered by node path and equipment in order to bulk tag equipment and bulk tag points in each of the buildings. These bulk tagged points data points can then be linked to specific rules in an analytical rules library. The system automatically applies predetermined analytical rules to tagged HVAC data points without specific knowledge of the rule by the user.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2021Date of Patent: July 25, 2023Assignee: RESOLUTE BUILDING INTELLIGENCE, LLCInventors: Chris Hallendy, Carlos Devoto, Justin Bootcheck, Chad Ruch, Keith Murphy
