Abstract: Seed treatment systems include a treatment applicator, a treatment dispersal assembly, and an outlet for discharging treated seeds, a mixing reservoir including a tank, and a mixing mechanism featuring an inlet in fluid communication with an outlet of the mixing reservoir, a pump in fluid communication with the mixing mechanism inlet, and a rotating member positioned within the tank and oriented so that the rotating member rotates about an axis that is oriented at an angle with respect to an axis of the tank. Methods of treating plant seeds with a seed treatment composition including a liquid treatment component which extends a viability of a microbe and a solid treatment component including at least one microbial, and agricultural compositions containing treated plants seeds, are also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions, kits, and systems comprising engineered bacteria and agricultural biologicals, and methods of use thereof to treat a plant and improve one or more plant beneficial traits, such as plant yield, nutrient uptake, and resistance to an abiotic or biotic stress. Use of the compositions, kits, and systems disclosed herein may further 5 decrease usage of fertilizers. The disclosure further teaches methods of using engineered bacteria with agricultural biologicals to treat a plant.

Abstract: Seed treatment systems with a mixing reservoir including a tank, a circulation mechanism positioned within the tank, and a controller coupled to the circulation mechanism, where the circulation mechanism includes a plurality of vanes configured to rotate about an axis within the tank, and where the controller is configured to mix seed treatment components within the tank in one or more mixing cycles by rotating the plurality of vanes within the tank, each mixing cycle including a first mixing operation in which the plurality of vanes rotate in a first direction about an axis for a first time period, and a second mixing operation in which the plurality of vanes rotate in a second direction about the axis opposite to the first direction for a second time period. Methods of use of the disclosed systems, e.g., for treating plant seeds, and agricultural compositions produced thereby are also provided.
