Abstract: A composition and a method for preparing a polymer composite article. The composition comprises (A) a filler in an amount of from 10 to 90 wt. The composition also comprises (B) a polymer in an amount of from 10 to 90 wt. %. wherein the (B) polymer is selected from polyolefins, polyamides, polyesters, or combinations thereof. Further, the composition comprises (C) an organopolysiloxane in an amount of from greater than 0 to 10 wt. %; the (C) organopolysiloxane having at least one silicon-bonded hydroxyl group and a viscosity of from 1,000 to 60,000 mPa·s at 25° C. The ranges for components (A)-(C) arc based on the total weight of components (A), (B) and (C) in the composition.

Abstract: A vehicle mode controller, a driving mode collecting means, and a plurality of subsystem controllers including an engine management system, a transmission controller, a steering controller, a brakes controller and a suspension controller, provide an improved system and method of operating a vehicle control system in a host vehicle in a manner suitable for a respective driving surface in a plurality of different off-road surfaces and terrains such as might be encountered when driving off-road. An improved method is provided for controlling a vehicle control system by avoiding unplanned combinations of subsystem configuration modes and minimizing the transition time when changing between subsystem configuration modes.

Abstract: A vehicle has affixed a gear rack mast for mounting a modified core driller adapted to accommodate a flexible coupling for driving a texturing tool for grooving or scoring a plurality of monolithic blocks to an even depth regardless of their levelness with respect to one another. The texturing tool has a plurality of concentric grooves in which are affixed a plurality of abrasive containing arcuate segments. A sensing system is provided for maintaining depth of groove.
