  • Patent number: 4213375
Abstract: A safety devide for firearms is disclosed comprising a projectile absorption means which, when the device is located in operative position on the distal end of a firearm barrel, is held in the path of a discharged projectile to contain the projectile and arrest its motion. Embodiments are illustrated in which the projectile absorption means and securing means in some cases are rigidly connected while in others are connected by means providing limited relative movement between these components.

  • Patent number: 4118261
Abstract: A method of reinforcing fiberglass sheet material in which an inflatable envelope having a plurality of marginally sealed perforations therethrough is applied to the surface of the material. A wet layer of settable reinforcing material is then applied over the envelope and onto that part of the sheet material exposed by the perforations. The envelope is then inflated so as to cause the wet layer to assume a cratered form which is then allowed to solidify to form a reinforcing structure on the sheet material.
