  • Publication number: 20130293386
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for managing the location of at least one object that includes providing an object having a communication structure and providing a device capable of communicating with the communication structure operatively associated with the object within a communication range, the device being capable of providing a warning notification. The method and system further include determining, by the device, that the object is not detected within a predetermined proximity distance threshold and determining, by the device, that the object that is not detected within the predetermined proximity distance threshold has permission to not be detected within the predetermined proximity distance threshold. The method include providing no warning notification when the at least one object is determined to have permission to not be detected within the predetermined proximity distance threshold.

  • Publication number: 20130281879
Abstract: An aspect of the present invention is a method for determining whether a Luciferian can be rehabilitated. The method includes stimulating the Luciferian with a first stimulus and recording a first physiological response by the Luciferian to said first stimulus. The method includes determining, from the first physiological response, a first polarity of the Luciferian's response to the first stimulus. The method includes stimulating the Luciferian with a second stimulus and recording a second physiological response by the Luciferian to said second stimulus. Further, the method includes determining, from the second physiological response, a second polarity of the Luciferian's response to the second stimulus. The method includes comparing the first polarity to the second polarity to determine whether the second polarity has a greater value than the first polarity; and determining, from said comparing of first polarity and second polarity, whether the Luciferian can be rehabilitated.

  • Patent number: 7892089
Abstract: A entrance-exchange structure and method of execution thereof, comprising a house and an activity of uncertain outcome (e.g., game of chance, game of skill, etc.) that is entered by a participant (e.g., a participant such as a player). The house pays the participant a takehome in relevant scrip, or cash and relevant scrip, for an activity entered into by the participant, based on betting by the participant. An existing outside vendor may exchange the participant's scrip at a scrip-to-items exchange rate for at least one item provided by the outside vendor. The outside vendor may exchange the relevant scrip with the house for cash at an outside-vendor scrip-to-cash exchange rate. The house may also function as a vendor with whom the participant may exchange relevant scrip for cash at a house-vendor scrip-to-cash exchange rate. The relevant scrip is a virtual currency that may be generated by the entrance-exchange structure.
