  • Publication number: 20170171218
Abstract: Systems and methods may provide for receiving runtime input from one or more unlock interfaces of a device and selecting a level of access with regard to the device from a plurality of levels of access based on the runtime input. The selected level of access may have an associated security policy, wherein an authentication of the runtime input may be conducted based on the associated security policy. In one example, one or more cryptographic keys are used to place the device in an unlocked state with regard to the selected level of access if the authentication is successful. If the authentication is unsuccessful, on the other hand, the device may be maintained in a locked state with regard to the selected level of access.

  • Patent number: 8955045
Abstract: Systems and methods may provide for determining a composite false match rate for a plurality of authentication factors in a client device environment. Additionally, the composite false match rate can be mapped to a score, wherein an attestation message is generated based on the score. In one example, the score is associated with one or more of a standardized range and a standardized level.

  • Publication number: 20140091623
Abstract: A battery input receives a power discharge from a first battery of a local device. A controllable charging circuit generates a charging signal based on the power discharge, a charge status of the first battery, a charge status of one or more second battery for at least one of one or more external devices, and a load balancing plan associated with the local device and at least one of the one or more external devices. A charging output to route the charging signal to at least one of the one or more external devices.

  • Patent number: 7302589
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method is disclosed. The method includes storing a first list of hardware registers, receiving video data at an application program, receiving a second list of hardware registers from a device driver, determining whether the first list of hardware registers matches the second list of hardware registers, and if so, streaming the video data to a video decoder.

  • Patent number: 7269744
Abstract: A data safeguarding system, method, and article for safeguarding an encrypted data-stream transmitting on a first channel from a first system to a second system. The data-stream can be intertwined with other data-streams. The data-stream is arranged in fixed length sequential blocks, each block including a header portion and a payload portion. The first system places a flag marking in the header portion indicating that the payload includes a tag having at least one identifier for selecting the decryption keys from the first system. The second system reads the flag, and if the flag indicates a tag portion, reads the tag portion. The second system transmits the identifier to the first system on a second channel. The first system reads the identifier, retrieves the keys, and transmits the decryption keys to the second system on the second channel. The second system receives the decryption keys and decrypts the data block using the decryption keys.
