  • Patent number: 12312047
Abstract: The powered retractable ship ladder replaces the current technology of manually-lowered ship ladders. The powered ladder includes powered extension and retraction, with the added capability of being able to lift a user during ladder retraction. The ladder is formed from a collection of links. The links only permit the ladder to bend in one direction, thus keeping the extended ladder against the side of the ship, rather than swinging toward and away from the ship.

    Filed: May 5, 2022
Date of Patent: May 27, 2025
    Assignee: Nautical Structures Industries, Inc.
Inventors: Robert Bolline, Scott Danforth, Matthew Freeburg, Scott Milford, Art Sciarrotta, Steven Gioiosa, Mike Krawczyk, Keith Stephens, Nat McCormick, Benedict Capuco

  • Patent number: 10156233
Abstract: A continuous run controller for a dual control compressor system includes an integrated housing containing a pilot valve and a hydraulic unloader valve. Low pressure in the hydraulic oil system opens the hydraulic unloader valve such that the suction valve unloader assembly unloads the compressor. High pressure in an air receiver of the compressor system opens the pilot valve such that the suction valve unloader assembly unloads the compressor.

  • Patent number: 10087920
Abstract: A connecting rod assembly including a connecting rod, a bushing with an inner surface and an outer surface, and a pin connectively coupled to the piston and the connecting rod at the small end. The bushing contacts the pin on the inner surface and the connecting rod on the outer surface. The bushing may be self-lubricate when the bushing moves rotationally with respect to the connecting rod.

  • Publication number: 20150330381
Abstract: In one embodiment, a connecting rod assembly is described. The connecting rod assembly may comprise a connecting rod, a bushing with an inner surface and an outer surface, and a pin connectively coupled to the piston and the connecting rod at the small end. The bushing may contact the pin on the inner surface and the connecting rod on the outer surface. The bushing may self-lubricate when the bushing moves rotationally with respect to the connecting rod.

  • Publication number: 20070112102
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a process for preparing a polymer modified bituminous binder composition in the substantial absence of crosslinking agents by heating a bitumen component in a stirred tank to a temperature from 185° C. to 221° C.; adding a block copolymer composition to the bitumen component while the bitumen component is being stirred to form a homogeneous mixture of the bitumen component and the block copolymer composition; and continuing to stir the homogeneous mixture while maintaining the temperature from 185° C. to 221° C. for a period of time from 4 hours to 30 hours thereby forming a cured polymer modified bituminous binder composition.

  • Publication number: 20070105986
Abstract: A process for preparing compatible, selectively hydrogenated block copolymer-modified bituminous compositions comprising blowing a mixture of the block copolymer and bitumen with an oxidizing gas at temperatures of at least 375° C. for at least 75 minutes. The modifying polymer is a selectively hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer and no blowing catalyst is required. Stable bituminous compositions comprising 6 to 25 parts by weight of block copolymer per 100 parts of asphalt are also provided as well as their application as roofing shingles.
