  • Publication number: 20190050811
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide systems and methods for project scheduling. A project can include multiple tasks, and each task can include multiple subtasks. Each subtask can then in turn include multiple discrete actions. Each task, subtask, and discrete action has various properties associated with it, such as an owner and estimated completion date. Disclosed embodiments provide a temporally condensed view of outstanding discrete actions based on a filter date. This allows a project manager to view the outstanding discrete actions for a project. The filter date allows a specific time to be entered for which to perform this analysis. The condensed view of outstanding discrete actions based on a filter date thus allows a project manager the ability to quickly and accurately assess outstanding tasks, something which is a key aspect of successful project management.

  • Publication number: 20060207258
Abstract: A bearing plate assembly for a turbine engine fuel injector includes a bearing plate 30, with an opening 80 bordered by a race 82. A swivel ball 90 nests inside the race and is rotatable relative thereto. A lock, which may be a tip bushing 108 resists disengagement of the swivel ball from the race. A fuel injector nozzle 38 extends through an opening 98 in the swivel ball. During engine operation, the ball can swivel inside the race to accommodate rotational movement of the nozzle about lateral and radial axes.

  • Publication number: 20060099246
Abstract: A non-gelatin encapsulation system for liquid filled soft capsules, by nature of the carrier, the cationic-ionic balance of the carrier and the active ingredients, or the concentration of the active ingredients and excipients, are difficult or impossible to commercially encapsulate in gelatin capsules. In particular, the system is adapted for the encapsulation of highly basic, or alkaline, fills. The system provides for a predominantly starch and gelling carrageenan based shell, which displays high resistance to both concentrated fills and to alkaline fills, in particular, to those fills which contain the salt or salts of weak acids and strong bases.

  • Patent number: 6990791
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and apparatus for forming soft capsules and provides novel processing flexibility. The apparatus comprises a three-way valve injector wedge. This injector wedge allows for set-up of the encapsulation machine with a placebo fill and quick change over to active fill. This conserves use of the active ingredient.

  • Patent number: 6884060
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and apparatus for forming soft capsules and provides novel processing flexibility. The apparatus includes extrusion dies as an alternative to spreader boxes and the use of melt-on-demand technology to enhance the long term stability of the film-forming materials. Preferred embodiments provide a positive displacement pump to transport the molten film-forming material from the melt-on-demand device to the extrusion device and preferably a reservoir means disposed between said extrusion device and said means to melt said film-forming material. The encapsulation apparatus may also include a valved injection wedge.
