    Abstract: A power distribution switchboard assembly is provided which is adapted to accept plug-in outgoer mechanical base fixing/location arrangements or units having different physical size and format. The switchboard assembly includes at least two rear mounting plates each formed with interspersed different format apertures in a longitudinal direction. The two rear mounting plates are located in juxtaposed relationship and are adjustable in a lateral direction so as to be spaced apart by different specified distances and together be capable of accepting different sized plug-in outgoer arrangements.

    Abstract: An enclosure, for a circuit breaker, is provided with a venting arrangement to allow release of internal pressure caused by a short circuit fault condition in the circuit breaker. The venting arrangement is provided in the form of a blow out panel mounted over an aperture formed in the enclosure. Insulating barriers are provided to prevent vented exhaust particles from coming into contact with electrically live conductors.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a distribution board for electrical power which provides rear electrical access to connect busbars and switch modules together. The distribution board includes a framework for supporting electrical components, a switch compartment for receiving at least one switch module, and a terminal compartment for connecting outlet terminals from the switch module to outgoing lines. The present invention also includes a switch unit which utilizes a housing having a rear face. The rear face incorporates both input and output terminals.
