  • Publication number: 20060010622
Abstract: In an electric toothbrush in which a disk-like brush body is reciprocally rotated about an axis intersecting at a predetermined angle in a line extended in a longitudinal direction of a grip portion, a head portion put into user's mouth is made smaller or thinner, a rotation shaft of the brush body and a head portion are enabled incline at an optional angle with respect to the grip portion, and transmission efficiency of driving force is increased. For there purposes, an eccentric member having an eccentric shaft is fixed on a driving shaft of a motor, a joint portion formed at a first end portion of a lever member is made point contact with the eccentric shaft, so that the rotation movement of the eccentric shaft is converted to swing movement of the first end portion of the lever member.

  • Patent number: 6499621
Abstract: A sealing container assembly which is configured to hermetically contain a device therein includes a case, a lid member, a connecting member and a melting member. The case has an opening and is configured to contain the device therein. The lid member is configured to be connected to the case by welding to close the opening of the case. The connecting member is configured to connect the device contained inside the case to an outside of the case and configured to be sandwiched between the case and the lid member. The melting member has a melting point lower than those of the case and the lid member and is configured to be melted to seal gaps between the connecting member and the case and between the connecting member and the lid member when the lid member is connected to the case by welding.

  • Patent number: 6417645
Abstract: A combination holder and battery charger for holding a battery operated electric appliance and also for recharging the battery in the electric appliance includes a housing having top and bottom surfaces opposite to each other. An auxiliary base stand is operatively disposed on the bottom surface of the housing and capable of assuming one of first and second states. This auxiliary base stand when in the first position has at least a portion thereof protruding laterally outwardly from a contour of the bottom surface of the housing, but that portion of the auxiliary base stand to enable the combination holder and battery charger to be supported stably on a support surface. The combination holder and battery charger may include a wall attachment for securement of the combination charger and holder to a wall surface.

  • Patent number: 5448151
Abstract: In a battery charger for an electric appliance powered by an incorporated rechargeable battery such as an electric shaver or electric toothbrush, etc., a charger circuit and charging terminals are incorporated in a casing. The charger circuit supplies a charger current to the rechargeable battery through the charging terminals. The interior of the casing is divided into lower circuit compartment for receiving the charger circuit and an upper terminal compartment by a partition carrying the charging terminals in such a manner as to make a water-tight seal between the circuit and terminal compartments. The charging terminals project into the terminal compartment, are electrically connected to the charger circuit, and also are accessible through individual holes formed in a portion of the casing for connection with the rechargeable battery.

  • Patent number: 4845847
Abstract: An electric shaver has a shaving head and a trimmer handle mounting at its top a trimmer block. The trimmer handle is in the form of a flat plate slidably attached to a flat surface on the outer wall of a shaver housing for vertical movement between an inoperative position and an operative position. Formed in the inner surface of the flat plate trimmer handle is a shallow recess within which is located a trimmer drive interconnecting the trimmer block and a main drive element for the shaving head in order to drive the trimmer block from the same source as the shaving head. The trimmer block includes a stationary blade and a movable blade which define therebetween a cutting plane in parallel relation to the plane of the trimmer handle. This arrangement is to reduce the dimension of the trimmer block and the thickness of the trimmer handle.
