  • Patent number: 7614144
Abstract: The present invention is intended to realize a hold posture inspection of a plurality of components sucked by a plurality of nozzle rows provided on a head with a single scanning operation, thereby reducing the time for the hold posture inspection and improving the accuracy thereof. In order to achieve such objections, the present invention includes: a head on which at least two nozzle rows are disposed, each of which includes at least one nozzle; a circuit board holding unit for holding a circuit board on which components conveyed by the head are mounted; and an inspection unit, provided on a moving path of the head from a supplying unit to the circuit board holding unit, for inspecting hold postures of the components held by the nozzles of the head and including sensors for posture inspection independent for the respective nozzle rows.

  • Patent number: 7210222
Abstract: The present invention provides a power supply control method which is executed by the electronic component mounting apparatus. A drive power source and a control power source are separately connected and shut-off in accordance with a command from a control device to each of component feed drive parts for driving component feed devices, a component transfer drive device for driving a component transfer device, and a circuit board positioning drive device for driving a circuit board positioning device. The control device detects an individual occurrence of a halt condition of each of constituent parts of an electronic component mounting apparatus and shuts off a drive power source to the drive device in the halt condition. Thus, wasteful power consumption is eliminated and production is continued with a necessary minimum power.

  • Patent number: 7065864
Abstract: There are provided a method and apparatus of component mounting capable of avoiding damage caused by production operations with a component holder having debris thereon. If it is determined during a detecting step of a component holding condition that a component is held by a component holder in an improper condition for mounting, the component holder releases such a component into a collecting box, and skips a pick up operation at a next round of a pick up station. The component holder is then subjected to confirming whether any debris exists by using, preferably, a condition sensor, and the component holder picks up a new component if it is confirmed that no debris exists. If debris is found during the confirming step, production operations are stopped, or a warning is generated. After maintenance of the component holder is completed, production operations are restarted.

  • Publication number: 20040143964
Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic component mounting apparatus which can reduce a consumption power amount in comparison with the background art, and a power supply control method which is executed by the electronic component mounting apparatus. A drive power source and a control power source are separately connected and shut-off in accordance with a command from a control device (104) to each of component feed drive parts (107A, 107B) for driving component feed devices (101A, 101B), a component transfer drive device (108) for driving a component transfer device (102), and a circuit board positioning drive device (109) for driving a circuit board positioning device (103). The control device detects an individual occurrence of halt condition of each of constitution parts of an electronic component mounting apparatus (100) and shuts off the drive power source to the drive device in the halt condition.

  • Publication number: 20030056363
Abstract: There are provided a method and apparatus of component mounting capable of avoiding damages caused by production operations with the component holder having debris on it. If it is determined at the detecting step of component holding condition (#104) that a component (3) is held by a component holder (14) in improper condition for mounting, the component holder (14) releases such a component (3) into the collecting box (23)(#112), and skips pick up operation at the next round of pick up station (15). The component holder (14) is then subjected to confirming whether any debris exists by using, preferably, a condition sensor (17)(#114), and the component holder (14) picks up a new component (3) (#103) if it is confirmed that no debris exists. If debris is found at the confirming step, production operations are stopped (#116), or warning is generated. After the maintenance of the component holder (14) is completed, production operations are restarted.

  • Patent number: 6259966
Abstract: As component replacement positions where component feeding tables are replenished with components, are arranged a number of component replacement positions, the number being obtained by substituting a total number of component feeding tables into a specified function. A component feeding table that is not in a component suckup position is moved necessarily to any one of the component replacement positions regardless of the combination of component feeding tables. This component replacement position is determined through steps of setting sequence numbers on the component replacement positions by the specified function based on the distance from the component suckup position, setting sequence numbers and component-replacement direction on the plurality of component feeding tables by a specified function, and giving a specified function the sequence number and component-replacement direction of a component-exhausted component feeding table.
