Abstract: The present application relates to static charge reduction device comprising a humid medium generator for generating a humid medium with a specified relative humidity, a humid medium delivery apparatus for delivering the humid medium to a target object, a grounded apparatus connecting the humid medium delivery apparatus and ground, and a conductive means which both contacting the target object and connecting the grounded apparatus; wherein the humid medium delivery apparatus, the conductive means and the target object are arranged successively along a delivery path of the humid medium, such that the humid medium is delivered through the humid medium delivery apparatus, the conductive means and the target object successively for static charge reduction.

The humid air stream generator comprises a hollow cylindrical chamber (2) with a mist generator (21) placed inside at the bottom of the hollow cylindrical chamber (2) for generating a continuous stream of humid air, an inlet tubing (22) attached to the hollow cylindrical chamber (2) for feeding a stream of incoming air, an outlet tubing (8) attached to the hollow cylindrical chamber (2), a suction fan (4) placed between the outlet tubing (8) and the mist generator (21) for forming the continuous stream of humid air with the stream of incoming air into a cyclonic air flow which spiral upward towards the outlet tubing (8), so as to eliminate accumulation of water droplets or condensation at an outlet region of the hollow cylindrical chamber (2).

A technical solution to more effectively prevent the “leaking of air stream passage” can be achieved through the design of a multi-holes structure at the air passage to more broadly expand its air sucking area coverage without increasing the original suction power.

Abstract: Electrostatic discharge chair with a grounding disc suitable to be used on a swivel chair are described. The accessories comprise a static dissipative chair cover (12), flexible conductive ground loop (14) and grounding means (16). The flexible conductive ground loop (14) have an attaching means (24) attached with two flexible coiled springs, the first spring having an open end (26a) and the second spring having an open tapered (26b) end. The flexible conductive ground loop (14) is attached to chair cover (12) and wrapped around swivel post (34) by screwing one end of the spring into the other to provide a ground path from chair cover to swivel post. The grounding means (16) is attached to swivel post and in contact with ground to provide a ground path from swivel post to ground.
