  • Publication number: 20260144188
Abstract: An inertial measurement unit (IMU) is fixed in a known transformation relative to a vision system sensor. The IMU in vision system sensor are mounted to an agricultural machine. The agricultural machine is controlled to move and the orientation of the vision system sensor, relative to a reference point on the agricultural machine, is generated based upon an IMU signal generated by the IMU during the motion. The orientation is then used to control the agricultural machine.

  • Publication number: 20260114375
Abstract: A work machine system includes a point cloud data sensor configured to detect point cloud data defining a plurality of points corresponding to a receiving vehicle and a grid map generator configured to identify a set of volumes and, for each respective volume in the set of volumes, identify a respective set of points having a location that corresponds to the respective volume and assign a point value to the respective volume based on the respective set of points. A parameter locator system is configured to identify a location of a structural object on the receiving vehicle based on the point values assigned to the volumes in the set of volumes and an unloading control system is configured to control the unloading operation based on the location of the structural object.

  • Publication number: 20260104712
Abstract: A leading vehicle controls a following vehicle during a fill operation to change the positions of the two vehicles relative to one another. A control system generates a communication signal indicating that a position change operation that changes the position of the vehicles relative to one another is about to be executed. An operator display displays an indication of the position change operation prior to commencing the position change operation.

  • Patent number: 12588593
Abstract: Computer aided design (CAD) files for a plurality of different kinds of receiving vehicles are loaded to a remote server. Based on a receiving vehicle identifier, a corresponding CAD file or information derived from a CAD file is sent to a leading vehicle that is performing an unloading operation to load material into the receiving vehicle. An unloading control system controls the unloading operation based on the CAD file or information.

  • Publication number: 20260053097
Abstract: A cross member on a receiving vehicle which is coupled to a following vehicle, is located relative to a leading vehicle. The location of the cross member is tracked during an unloading operation so the leading vehicle avoids the cross member when unloading material into the receiving vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12550826
Abstract: A physical attribute of a receiving vehicle (a receiving vehicle parameter) is located by calculating a vehicle parameter offset value indicative of the location of the receiving vehicle parameter relative to a reference point on a following vehicle, the following vehicle providing propulsion to the receiving vehicle. The vehicle parameter offset value is stored for access during an unloading operation. A leading vehicle automatically accesses the vehicle parameter offset value and unloads material into the receiving vehicle using the vehicle parameter offset value corresponding to the receiving vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12495734
Abstract: A three dimensional grid map is generated to locate a cross member on a receiving vehicle which is coupled to a following vehicle. The location of the cross member is tracked during an unloading operation so the leading vehicle avoids the cross member when unloading material into the receiving vehicle, and so the fill level is more accurately identified.

  • Patent number: 12439853
Abstract: An agricultural harvester has a frame and a spout that is mounted to the frame. A target landing point indicates a position in a receiving vehicle where material is intended to land. A control system detects an actual landing point and automatically controls the spout based on a difference between the actual landing point and the target landing point.

  • Patent number: 12256672
Abstract: An agricultural harvester has a frame and a spout that is movably mounted relative to the frame. A spout actuator drives movement of the spout relative to the frame based on a spout actuator control signal. Harvesting functionality engages material from a field and delivers the material through an outlet end of the spout as the agricultural harvester moves through the field in a direction of travel. A turn identifier identifies a location of a turn forward of the agricultural harvester in the direction of travel and generates a turn location indicator indicative of the location of the turn. A speed detector detects a speed of the agricultural harvester and generates a speed indicator indicative of the detected speed.

  • Publication number: 20250008872
Abstract: On a harvester, unload conditions are detected to determine whether an unloading operation should be commenced. If so, once a receiving vehicle is in a target position relative to a spout, an unloading auger is automatically engaged to unload harvested material from a clean grain tank, through the spout, into the receiving vehicle. When stop criteria are detected, then the unloading auger is automatically disengaged.
