  • Patent number: 5848735
Abstract: A shell for a water cooler has two side sections and a front section. The side sections slide-connect with the front section and lock in place at corner joints, thereby forming an essentially one-piece shell. The shell may be economically fabricated with only two molds (one for the side sections and one for the front section) and with only the slide-connect step.

  • Patent number: 5645331
Abstract: A lower front for water coolers for reducing the expense and labor of renovating different brands of used water coolers. In one of its aspects, the apparatus comprises new front panel elements that are substantially identical to each other, and are shaped and adapted to replace corresponding used front panel elements on the used water coolers even though such used front panel elements, and related parts, are different from each other.

  • Patent number: 5528810
Abstract: A method of reducing the expense and labor of renovating different brands of used water coolers. In one of its aspects, the method comprises providing new front panel elements that are substantially identical to each other, and are shaped and adapted to replace corresponding used front panel elements on the used water coolers even though such used front panel elements (and related parts) are different from each other. In another of its aspects, the method comprises providing relatively small panel elements that have faucet holes therein corresponding in size and location to faucet holes in the different brands of used front panel elements, and assembling the appropriate one of such relatively small panel elements with a new front panel element during cooler renovation.

  • Patent number: 5385273
Abstract: A housing for mounting on a water dispenser which includes a compartment to extend over water dispensing spigots on the dispenser. The compartment has an aperture in its top in which presser bars are positioned. The presser bars are pivotally supported by the housing and overlie the spigots to actuate them in a manner to reduce wear on and corresponding leakage of their valves. The presser bars have large areas of contact to enable them to be depressed by persons of reduced finger strength by forming a leverage system which reduces the actuating force necessary to operate the spigots.
