Abstract: The present invention comprises a novel method for generating AI training data sets and evaluating the efficacy of AI algorithms against real data. The invention consists of both hardware and software devices. The described hardware devices are capable of providing known test object metadata and state information such that the appropriate attributes of a test object may be known a priori for use in AI algorithms. The described software devices are capable of performing the temporal association of the sensor and test object metadata and either building the training data set or statistically evaluating the accuracy of a pre-existing AI algorithm.
