Abstract: A personal perineal cleansing system includes a specialized toilet seat comprising a basin with an interior sprayer, a horizontal portion upon which the user sits, a vertical portion disposed behind the user when seated, and a basin re-positioning system that moves the basin from the functional position (near the center of the toilet bowl) within the horizontal portion to the storage position in the vertical portion. The basin re-positioning system may be manually or electronically activated.

Abstract: A basin bidet style personal perineal cleansing system includes a secondary toilet seat having right and left side slot openings, a handle assembly with handle stems extending through the side slot openings, hand grips disposed at the distal ends of the handle stems, and a basin support carrying a basin with an interior sprayer. The handle stems are pivotally supported within the side slot openings. The proximal ends of the two handle stems are rotatably attached to the basin support. When a user applies downward force on the hand grips, the distal ends of the handle stems move downwardly, the proximal ends of the handle stems pivot upwardly, and the basin support with the attached basin is raised to achieve a suitable fit against the user's perineal area, which is then sprayed with water from the interior sprayer.

The second end includes an opening for securing the first end to a heel on the shoe, and a strap attachment means for attaching the second end to a strap on the shoe proximate to the heel. The strap attachment means has a flap that folds around the strap and is secured to the elongated body by mating fasteners. The hem protector is preferably a soft, non-slip rubber material, such as neoprene.

Abstract: A hem protector for preventing hems of skirts and cuffs of pants from slipping between the heel of a foot and an insole of an open heel shoe, is formed of a flexible elongate body having a first end and a second end. An opening is provided through the first end of the elongate body through which a heel of the shoe may extend to fix the first end of the elongate body to the shoe. The second end of the elongate body is configured for capturing a portion of an ankle strap of the open heel shoe. In this regard, a first portion of the second end of the elongate body is folded over the ankle strap and secured in place to either a second portion of the second end of the elongate body or to the heel of the shoe.
