Abstract: A shore-to-dock/boat access system is disclosed for use on a body of water with changing water levels. The system may be composed of non-corrosive fiberglass (or fiberglass-like) materials and include numerous installation components: A gangway supporting structure may be affixed to the shore using support members. A moveable gangway structure may be slideably connected to the gangway supporting structure with the assistance of a slider assembly including, inter alia, cam followers, a pivot unit, and/or runner plate. In addition, methods are disclosed for installing and servicing the system.
