  • Publication number: 20220183768
Abstract: A surgical system includes a first trackable marker configured to be coupled to a first bone of a joint, a second trackable marker configured to be coupled to a second bone of the joint, and a tracking system configured to track a position of the first trackable marker and a position of the second trackable marker. A controller is configured to receive an input from a user specifying a user-input native deformity of the joint and determine, based on the position of the first trackable marker and the position of the second trackable marker, a detected native deformity of the joint. The controller is further configured to compare the detected native deformity of the joint to the user-input native deformity of the joint and generate an alert in response to a disagreement between the detected native deformity of the joint and the user-input native deformity of the joint.

  • Publication number: 20220031473
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a balancer algorithm to perform joint balancing calculations to identify target solutions based on surgeon preference. The balancer algorithm can generate a suggested final implant plan from a predetermined range. The balancer algorithm can be used in a knee arthroplasty procedure to generate bone resection depths, bone gaps, implant angulations, required soft tissue release, etc. Input to the balancer algorithm can include preoperative data, intraoperative data, and surgeon preference data.

  • Publication number: 20060093634
Abstract: The present invention relates to color stable personal care compositions that provide anti-oxidiation, moisturization, and/or prevent biodegradation in personal care formulations. These compositions contain erythorbic acid or a salt thereof, caffeic acid or a salt thereof, ?-gluconolactone, or a mixture thereof. The present invention further relates to methods of moisturizing skin with erythorbic acid or a salt thereof, or ?-gluconolactone. The present invention also relates to concentrates of active ingredients preloaded with a sufficient amount of an anti-oxidation, moisturizing and/or biodegradation prevention agent so that when it is diluted for use, the final formulation includes an anti-oxidation, moisturizing and/or biodegradation prevention effective amount of the anti-oxidation, moisturizing, and/or biodegradation prevention agent.
