  • Publication number: 20240141767
Abstract: A method of improving a field operation that comprises a gas injection may include assessing a plurality of potential injection gases against a plurality of values of a plurality of parameters associated with a plurality of samples, where each of the plurality of potential injection gases comprises an acidic component, and where the plurality of parameters comprises fluid chemistry parameters and rock properties. The method may also include determining a proposed injection gas from among the plurality of potential injection gases for the field operation that comprises the gas injection to be performed using a first wellbore in fluidic communication with a first subterranean formation, a second wellbore in fluidic communication with the first subterranean formation, a third wellbore in fluidic communication with a second subterranean formation, or any combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20240115118
Abstract: An endoscope comprises a handpiece housing, an elongate flexible shaft extending from the handpiece housing, a pull wire extending from the handpiece housing into the elongate flexible shaft, and a tensioning mechanism configured to adjust tension in the pull wire. A method for adjusting tension in a pull wire of a controller for an endoscope comprises preparing an endoscope for use before a procedure, adjusting tension in a pull wire for deflecting a flexible elongate shaft of the endoscope to reduce knob dwell, and performing an endoscopic procedure with the endoscope.

  • Patent number: 9340423
Abstract: A catalyst effective for the direct reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to form hydrogen peroxide includes particles of gold, palladium or, preferably, gold and palladium deposited upon an acid-washed support. High selectivity to and production of hydrogen peroxide is observed, with low hydrogen peroxide decomposition. The catalysts have extended lifespan.

  • Publication number: 20070011925
Abstract: An engaging rack for engagement with a cylindrical banner adapted for mounting on a tire stack. The rack features top and bottom components having a circular perimeter edge substantially the diameter of a tire. At least one elongated member engages between the top component and the bottom component with the resulting rack dimensioned to provide a mount for said cylindrical banner conventionally engaged over stacks of tires. Rollers may be engaged for easy transport and the elongated members may be telescopic to adjust height. The device may be provided in kit form with different diameters for the top and bottom components to adjust the rack for ultimate dimension to accommodate various sized tire stack banners.

  • Patent number: 6037280
Abstract: A UV blocking fabric is provided which includes a fabric, UV blocking particles having a property of deflecting, reflecting, absorbing and/or scattering ultraviolet rays; and a binding agent attaching the UV blocking particles to the fabric. An article of manufacture which includes a fabric, optionally shaped to form an article of clothing, an awning, an umbrella, a sunscreen, a tent, a tarp, a canvas and the like, UV blocking particles having a property of deflecting, reflecting, absorbing and/or scattering ultraviolet rays which may be colored to match or contrast with the color of the fabric; and a binding agent attaching the UV blocking particles to the fabric. The UV blocking particles may be applied to the article of manufacture prior to or after manufacturing the article by immersion methods or by spraying methods.
