Publication number: 20210353114Abstract: The present invention includes a human waste collection device system, comprising of a tubular element and a flexile element. The tubular element has a first end defining a first opening and a second end defining a second opening, as well as being constructed of a rigid outside layer and a soft inside layer, which also provide a soft edge at the first opening. A flexile element including an open end and a sealed end. The flexile element is positioned within the tubular element such that the open end is positioned about the first opening and folded over the soft edge, while the sealed end extends from the second opening for collection of bodily human waste. Systems and methods are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2020Publication date: November 18, 2021Inventor: Kelly Knight

Patent number: 10358868Abstract: The present invention is directed to an embedded interconnecting drive system. The drive system is used to deploy and retract flexible, roll-up panels away from or onto a roller drum as the drum rotates on its longitudinal axis. In this invention, a plurality of cogs, each comprising a semi-tubular recess and tapered shaft, interact with each other to induce the flexible panel to move in concert with the roller drum as the roller drum rotates, preventing the flexible panel from unraveling on the drum. The cogs compel the flexible panel to deploy away and downward from the drum as it rotates deployingly, and to retract onto the roller drum as it rotates retractingly. This invention discloses details of the cog and a complimentary annular lock disc used to secure the cog to a flexible panel. Further, this invention discloses a plurality of embodiments of the embedded interconnecting drive system.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 2016Date of Patent: July 23, 2019Assignee: Hall Labs LLCInventors: David R. Hall, Joe Fox, Kelly Knight, Hyrum Malone

Patent number: 10212870Abstract: The present invention is directed to a bridging apparatus. The apparatus may be used to span the gap between a vertically movable storage container and a stationary floor structure when a landing of the storage container is planar to a landing of the stationary floor structure. In this invention, the bridging apparatus comprises a bracket, an overlay plate, a hinge comprising a rod, glides, and a switch, which interact with each other and with the vertically movable storage container and the stationary floor structure. As the storage container ascends, the glide of the overlay plate slides angularly contacts a vertical wall of the stationary floor structure and glides along the wall. When the storage container landing is planar with the stationary floor structure landing, the overlay plate rotates downward to a 90-degree angle, resting in a recess in the stationary floor structure landing, engaging the switch to terminate power to the vertically movable storage container.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2018Date of Patent: February 19, 2019Assignee: Hall Labs LLCInventors: David R. Hall, Andrew Priddis, Benjamin Jensen, Max Tarver, Kelly Knight

Patent number: 9976300Abstract: The present invention is directed to a roll-up wall. The roll-up wall and its components may be used to divide existing larger spaces into smaller spaces with a sound-attenuating barrier. In this invention a sound-attenuating panel is attached to a roller drum which, when turned on its axis by a winding mechanism, deploys or retracts the sound-attenuating panel. This invention discloses details of the sound-attenuating panel, the roller drum, a sound-attenuating guide system, a lower sound-attenuating seal, and an interlocking system. More particularly, this invention discloses an interlocking system which removably attaches a sound-attenuating panel to a roller drum. This invention discloses a plurality of embodiments of the interlocking system and provides detailed descriptions of each embodiment.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2016Date of Patent: May 22, 2018Inventors: David R. Patent number: 9963873Abstract: The present invention is directed to a roll-up, flexible, sound-attenuating wall system. More particularly, this invention relates to a retractable wall system and its components which may be used to divide existing larger spaces into smaller spaces with sound-attenuating barriers. In each unit the flexible, sound-attenuating wall is attached to a receiver tube which, when turned on its axis, deploys or retracts the flexible, sound-attenuating wall. The flexible, sound-attenuating wall is guided by a guide roller to intersect with other flexible, sound-attenuating walls at various angles. The receiver tube and guide roller are attached at either end to independent support brackets. This invention discloses a plurality of interlocking connector systems for connecting a plurality of flexible, sound-attenuating walls at various angles.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2016Date of Patent: May 8, 2018Inventors: David R.
