Publication number: 20240013884Abstract: A treatment management apparatus for managing treatment administered to livestock is provided. The treatment management apparatus may comprise a wireless communication interface configured to receive, from a user system, treatment data representing an animal to be treated and a treatment to be administered; an animal detector configured to detect placement of the treatment management apparatus against a surface of the animal; and an actuation monitor configured to detect actuation of a treatment initiation component to initiate administration of the treatment of the animal; wherein the wireless communication interface is further configured to send, to the user system, administration data regarding the administration of the treatment, wherein the administration data represents one or more events associated with the animal detector and the actuation monitor.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 10, 2023Publication date: January 11, 2024Inventors: David Snapp, Kelly Lynch, Nora Schrag, Alan Bell, Brad McCarthy, Nicholas Iles, Thomas Blandino, Ian Janik, Michael Naughton, Emily Warner

Publication number: 20070061751Abstract: A chart is presented in a host application. The chart is managed by communicating data corresponding to the chart to a separate application and providing functionality for editing the data in the separate application. The presentation of the data in the separate application is distinct from the presentation of the chart in the host application. Changes to the data are communicated the host application when the data is edited in the separate application. The communicated changes to the data are reflected in the presentation of the chart in the host application.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 15, 2005Publication date: March 15, 2007Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Daniel Cory, Kelly Lynch

Publication number: 20060190814Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for importing markup language formatted data into a spreadsheet document and for exporting markup language formatted data from a spreadsheet document. XML data is associated with an XML schema file defining XML data types and data type definitions for applying XML data to the document. An XML data map is prepared that relates that any XML data applied to the document back to corresponding XML elements or attributes defined in the associated schema file. When the document is imported into a spreadsheet application grid, the data map is parsed to find XPATHs in the imported spreadsheet document of XML data and the user entered data. Each XPATH is executed to determine the location, data types and user data for each cell or list object in the document that is related back to the associated schema file.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 23, 2006Publication date: August 24, 2006Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Robert Collie, Chad Rothschiller, Ulrich Homann, Joseph Chirilov, Kelly Lynch, Ramakrishnan Natarajan, Eoin Burke, Juha Niemisto, Michael McCormack, Parul Dalia, Marise Chan, James Rivera

Method and system for inferring a schema from a hierarchical data structure for use in a spreadsheet
Publication number: 20060117250Abstract: A method and system are provided for inferring a schema from an electronic document containing hierarchical data for use in a spreadsheet application program. The electronic document containing the hierarchical data is received into an application program. The application program may be a spreadsheet application program. The format of the hierarchical data structure may be XML. The hierarchical data includes a set of nodes making up the structure of the hierarchical data. The nodes may be XML elements and attributes. The hierarchical data is then parsed to discover one of the nodes in the hierarchical data. Once the node has been discovered, content associated with the discovered node is saved to a memory location in the computer system. The content may include data associated with the discovered node and the type of data associated with the node. The hierarchical data is then parsed again to discover subsequent nodes until the content for all of the nodes has been saved to the memory location.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2006Publication date: June 1, 2006Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Chad Rothschiller, Michael McCormack, Eoin Burke, Kelly Lynch, Roy Dumas -

Publication number: 20060004844Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for managing the application of one or more XML data mappings or one or more XML schema files to a spreadsheet application workbook. One or more XML schema files for associating to the spreadsheet workbook are obtained. Each schema file is iterated to determine if one or more additional schema files are identified in each of the obtained schema files. Each obtained schema is parsed to determine data definitions, elements, attributes, structure, and simple data content required by each schema file for valid XML data. All obtained schema files are combined to create a unified schema definition. A single root element is selected to serve as a root element for the generalized instance structure. A generalized instance structure of the unified schema definition is built representing all available elements, attributes or simple data content of the unified schema definition that may be applied to the spreadsheet application workbook.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 29, 2005Publication date: January 5, 2006Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Chad Rothschiller, Kelly Lynch, Ramakrishnan Natarajan, Juha Niemisto, Marise Chan, Thibaut Vial
