Publication number: 20240354789Abstract: Techniques are described for producing machine-generating findings associated with user experiences with products and/or services. In some embodiments, a finding generator receives a set of user experience test results, generates a set of permutations of user attribute values, and, for each permutation, determines distributions of quantitative values that measure one or more facets of the user experience with a product or service for users that have the user attribute values and users that do not. Based on a comparison of the distributions, the finding generator identifies a subset of permutations to retain, generates segments of user experience test results based on the permutations, and generates findings summaries based on the results included in each segment. The findings may be presented to an analyst and or consumed by downstream application to perform actions directed at improving the design of the product or service.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2023Publication date: October 24, 2024Applicant: Wevo, Inc.Inventors: Dustin Garvey, Janet Muto, Nitzan Shaer, Shannon Walsh, Alexa Stewart, Andrea Paola Aguilera GarcĂa, Kim Coccoluto, Sara Peters, Ruthie McCready, Kelly Lyons, Melany Carvalho, Everett Granger, Julia McCarthy, Frank Chiang, Alexander Barza, Hannah Sieber

Patent number: 12079585Abstract: Techniques are described herein for producing machine-generated findings given a set of user experience test results. In some embodiments, the system generates the findings using an artificial intelligence and machine learning engine. The findings may highlight areas that are predicted to provide the most insight into optimizing a product's design. A finding may be generated based on all or a subset of the test result elements, including qualitative and/or quantitative data contained therein. A finding may summarize a subset of the UX test results that are interrelated. A finding may link a summary to one or more references extracted from the set of test results to show support for the machine-generated insights in the underlying raw test data. Machine-generated findings reports may provide near instantaneous guidance for optimizing product designs while removing extraneous information from a vast quantity of raw test result data.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 2023Date of Patent: September 3, 2024Assignee: Wevo, Inc.Inventors: Dustin Garvey, Janet Muto, Nitzan Shaer, Shannon Walsh, Alexa Stewart, Andrea Paola Aguilera Garcia, Kim Coccoluto, Sara Peters, Ruthie McCready, Kelly Lyons, Melany Carvalho, Everett Granger, Julia McCarthy, Frank Chiang, Alexander Barza, Hannah Sieber

Patent number: 11816573Abstract: Techniques are described for producing machine learning models to generate findings associated with user experiences with products and/or services. In some embodiments, a training process receives a set of findings from one or more user experience tests, where a finding includes a summary and a set of one or more references supporting the summary. The training process further identifies a supplemental set of one or more references that were not included in the initial finding to support the summary. The training process trains a machine learning model, such as a neural or generative language model, based on the first set of one or more references and the second set of one or more references to generate summaries from a subset of sampled references based at least in part on the first set of one or more references and the second set of one or more references.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 2023Date of Patent: November 14, 2023Assignee: Wevo, Inc.Inventors: Dustin Garvey, Janet Muto, Nitzan Shaer, Shannon Walsh, Alexa Stewart, Andrea Paola Aguilera Garcia, Kim Coccoluto, Sara Peters, Ruthie McCready, Kelly Lyons, Melany Carvalho, Everett Granger, Julia McCarthy, Frank Chiang, Alexander Barza, Hannah Sieber

Publication number: 20170316080Abstract: Systems and techniques for determining an expertise of an employee in an enterprise are described. A crawler may examine one or more external data sources that are external to an enterprise network associated with the enterprise to identify one or more documents associated with the employee. The external data sources may include patent databases, technical paper databases, and the like. A classifier may be used to determine keywords in the one or more documents. For each of the keywords, a term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) value may be determined. The keywords may be ranked based at least in part on the TF-IDF value associated with each keyword to create ranked keywords. The ranked keywords may be displayed. A font characteristic used to display a particular keyword of the ranked keywords may be determined based at least partly on the TF-IDF value associated with the particular keyword.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 29, 2016Publication date: November 2, 2017Inventors: Michel Albert Brisebois, Bahar Ghadiri Bashardoost, Gabriel M. Publication number: 20160283676Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for a digital data collection software in which a handheld electronic device collects and integrates one or more forms of data for outcome reporting. The various modules within the software can provide a patient-friendly and/or physician-friendly user interface for collecting various forms of data. The data collection templates, standardized reports and surveys can comprise consecutive predefined or custom questions or checklists, where the answers may be entered by using touch screen features, nested in menus or submenus, 3D virtual anatomical models, audio and/or visual cues. A permanent record can be generated from the collected data, where the permanent record can be synchronized for later manipulation such as optimization of the data collection template, production of reports or data analysis. All permanent records can desirably have redundant storage and compliant encryption methods.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2016Publication date: September 29, 2016Inventors: KELLY LYON, SHAWN INMAN, WILLIAM SMITH, CHESTER E. Publication number: 20070266420Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to privacy compliance assessment for computer software and provide a method, system and computer program product for a privacy model framework for software applications. In one embodiment, a privacy modeling data processing system can be provided. The privacy modeling data processing system can include a modeling framework configured for communicative coupling to a software application. The modeling framework can capture information flows from requests to and responses from a coupled software application, and can rules-based process the captured information flows for privacy rules to generate a privacy compliance report for the software application.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2006Publication date: November 15, 2007Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Jennifer Hawkins, Darshanand Khusial, Kelly Lyons, Michael McAllister, Jacob Slonim, Michael Smit
