  • Publication number: 20220282233
Abstract: Methods are provided that, for example, include (a) combining ssDNA containing a modified nucleotide (e.g., a ssDNA with a modified nucleotide proximate to its 5? end) with a DNA cleavage enzyme capable of cleaving the ssDNA at the modified nucleotide (e.g., to generate a first ssDNA fragment having a 3?OH and a second ssDNA fragment having the modified nucleotide); wherein the ratio of enzyme to DNA substrate is less than 1:1 molar ratio (m/m); and (b) cleaving at least 95% of the ssDNA at the modified nucleotide. In some embodiments, a method may comprise (a) combining (i) a ssDNA comprising a modified nucleotide (e.g., proximate to its 5? end) with (ii) a DNA cleavage enzyme capable of cleaving the ssDNA at the modified nucleotide (e.g., to generate (after cleavage) a first ssDNA fragment having a 3?OH and a second ssDNA fragment comprising the modified nucleotide) wherein the ratio of enzyme to DNA substrate is less than 1:1 molar ratio and cleaving at least 95% of the ssDNA at the modified nucleotide.

  • Publication number: 20220268733
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for evaluating reaction molecular byproducts of pyrotechnic reactions. A closed calorimetry bomb holds pyrotechnic material, which is detonated by a charge. The calorimetry bomb is vented directly into a gas chromatography machine, where gas phase molecules are separated based on their polarity. The separated molecules are then injected into a mass spectrometer and characterized by their mass fragmentation. The remaining residual solids within the bomb are extracted and injected into a liquid chromatography instrument where they are separated by their polarity. The separated molecules are then injected into a mass spectrometer and characterized by their mass fragmentation pattern. The method provides a complete picture of the reaction pathways and products to aid in regulatory compliance of incorporating energetic materials into real-world applications, particularly those in the family of PFAS containing compositions.

  • Publication number: 20220271736
Abstract: Disclosed is a Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) assist filter structure with a BAW resonator stacked onto an integrated passive device (IPD). In exemplary aspects disclosed herein, the BAW filter structure includes a transducer with electrodes and a piezoelectric layer between the electrodes. The IPD is electrically coupled to the BAW resonator and provides a high frequency of operation. In such a configuration, the BAW assist filter structure has a low insertion loss and mitigates electrical length parasitic loss due to the close electrically proximity of the BAW resonator stacked onto the IPD. Further, the BAW assist filter structure is able to filter high frequencies and provides improved filter performance and greater flexibility in design of a filter transfer function.

  • Patent number: 11423799
Abstract: A method for generating assembly instructions may include receiving inputs from a user, such that the inputs may include an indication of components of a product package. The method may also include retrieving assembly attribute data for each component from a first storage component, such that the assembly attribute data includes information regarding compatibility properties between two or more of the plurality of components. The method may then involve retrieving model data for each component from a second storage component, such that the model data is representative of physical properties of a respective component. The method may also include generating the assembly instructions for assembling the components together based on the attribute data and the model data, such that the assembly instructions include visualizations representative of at least a portion of a process for assembling the plurality of components together. The assembly instructions are then presented via an electronic display.
