  • Publication number: 20240062863
Abstract: A system and method providing automated voice-based healthcare plan delivery. The system interfaces with the patient through a voice-controlled personal assistant appliance via the internet. Some embodiments are implemented as voice applications or skills within the eco-system of an existing voice-controlled personal assistant device/appliance (hereinafter VCPAD). The system and method allow a clinician to create, digitally input, and modify a healthcare plan for a patient using a simple computer/web interface and without the need of any software development or computer programming skills, and allows a patient to interface with and query that healthcare plan using a largely conventional voice-controlled digital assistant appliance simply and efficiently to extract information about his/her individual healthcare plan in the patient's own language.

  • Publication number: 20230112069
Abstract: A computerized system for sensor-based assessment of abilities of a person, such as a job applicant, and of skills required in performing a role, such as a job. Sensor-gathered data is processed automatedly to assess ability of the person, and to identify skills. Data may be gathered actively during performance of an assessment task, or passively, separately from any assessment task. Similarly, sensor-gathered data is processed automatedly to identify skill requirements for performance of the role. The system then performs automated matching to identify a role/job that is compatible with the skills of the person/job applicant. Accordingly, job applicants may be assessed using an objective hardware/sensor-based assessment of observed/measured/tracked abilities/performance, e.g., to determine physical, cognitive and/or social abilities. Thereby, the system may be used to remove personal bias and subjectivity (e.g.

  • Patent number: 11497283
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a garment locking device appliance. The garment locking device includes a first component including an extension and a base element at one end of the extension. The first component is configured to be secured to a first garment material. The garment locking device includes a second component including a body with a channel formed therein. The channel is dimensioned to accommodate passage of the base element therethrough. The second component is configured to be secured to a second garment material. Passage of the base element of the first component into the channel of the second component detachably couples the first component to the second component, and detachably couples the first garment material to the second garment material. The first and second components include complementary magnetic or ferromagnetic components to assist in detachably coupling the first and second components to each other.
