  • Patent number: 11636881
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for presenting a user interface in association with video content features. A video content feature is rendered on at least one display. A current scene in the video content feature is determined. Cast members are determined who have appeared in the current scene from a beginning of the current scene up to a current time in the current scene. A user interface is rendered on at least one display. The user interface includes selectable cast member components that each include an image of a cast member, a name of the cast member, and a name of a respective character performed by the cast member.

  • Patent number: 11619336
Abstract: A wire pulling assembly for pulling a wire carrying tooling through an underground environment. The pulling assembly includes a cyclical vise carried by one or more hydraulic cylinders attached to a frame. The cylinders have a pulling stroke and a retraction stroke. A powered reel is used to store the wire as it is removed from the ground. During a pulling stroke, the reel is hydraulically isolated such that cable is stripped from the reel with tension maintained in the cable. During a retraction stroke, a motor turns the reel to load excess cable onto the reel.

  • Publication number: 20230025707
Abstract: The present disclosure provides in one aspect monoclonal antibodies that bind ?-Synuclein. In certain aspects, the antibodies preferentially bind to ?-Synuclein fibrils over ?-Synuclein monomer. In other aspects, the disclosure provides a method of treating, ameliorating, and/or preventing ?-Synucleopathic disease in a subject, comprising administering any one of the antibodies of the disclosure to the subject. In yet other aspects, the disclosure provides methods of detecting ?-Synuclein fibrils using any one of the antibodies of the disclosure.

  • Publication number: 20220325825
Abstract: A method for breaking the friction between a buried pipe section and its surrounding soil. A linear actuator or a pneumatic impact mole pushes on one end of the pipe section while a pipe extractor pulls on the opposing end of the pipe section. In an alternative embodiment, a device is used to excite the pipe section's natural vibrational frequency while a pipe extractor pulls on one end of the pipe section. After the friction between the pipe section and its surrounding soil is broken, the pipe extractor may remove the pipe section from its borehole. In another embodiment, the pipe section may be cut into smaller sections and each section may be individually removed from the ground using a pipe extractor. Alternatively, the smaller pipe sections may be individually loosened from the surrounding soil and then rejoined before being removed from the ground by a pipe extractor.

  • Patent number: 10927602
Abstract: A reversible pipe ramming tool used in horizontal pipe replacement operations. The tool is powered by a pneumatic hose attached to a rear end of the tool. The tool has forward and rearward fluid paths, which can either communicate with one another or stand in isolation. Fluid flow along the forward fluid path, when it is maintained in isolation from the reverse fluid path, causes the tool to move in a forward direction. Fluid flow along the forward fluid path, when it is maintained in communication with the reverse fluid path, causes the tool to move in a rearward direction. The tool is switched between forward and reverse by flowing fluid through a pilot fluid path in fluid communication with a valve. Movement of a shuttle within the valve selectively isolates the forward fluid path from the reverse fluid path.

  • Patent number: 10672075
Abstract: A system for processing and monitoring trade data receives and transforms trade activities to a musical piece representation, converts the representation to a metrical tree, and performs analysis that provides more accurate onset detection at accelerated speed with more efficient use of computing resources by placing more emphasis on the information hierarchically contained in the metrical tree than on the tree structure when comparing and matching trade patterns, such as potential market manipulation, market change signal, synthetically created trades, or likelihood that the set of trade activities will result in a market price move of one or more financial assets against plans. The analytical system further weights-in the identified signals and determines scores to reflect likelihood of trade irregularities. When the score does not meet a preconfigured threshold, a corresponding action is executed.

  • Patent number: 10664943
Abstract: The disclosed concepts provide a method to generate and use a compound shader object. A compound shader object includes a shader's intermediate representation (IR) and one or more binary modules; each binary module configured to execute on one type of graphics processing unit (GPU) with a specific input state. One method includes receiving, through a public application programming interface (API), a request to execute a shader from an user-level application. At the framework level, if the request corresponds to one of the prior compiled binary modules, that module may be passed to a GPU for immediate execution via a system private interface. If the request does not correspond to one of the binary modules, the shader's IR module may returned to the requesting user-level application (which module would then have to be compiled before it may be sent to the GPU).

  • Patent number: 10372431
Abstract: A system decouples the source code language from the eventual execution environment by compiling the source code language into a unified intermediate representation that conforms to a language model allowing both parallel graphical operations and parallel general-purpose computational operations. The intermediate representation may then be distributed to end-user computers, where an embedded compiler can compile the intermediate representation into an executable binary targeted for the CPUs and GPUs available in that end-user device. The intermediate representation is sufficient to define both graphics and non-graphics compute kernels and shaders. At install-time or later, the intermediate representation file may be compiled for the specific target hardware of the given end-user computing system.

  • Patent number: 10221048
Abstract: A crane assembly includes a main body, a boom, a hoist, a sheave, a hook assembly including a hook, a cable, and a projection. The boom extends from the main body and includes a tubular main section and a tubular extension section telescopically nested within the tubular main section. The boom has a first end pivotally coupled to the main body. The hoist is coupled to at least one of the first end of the boom and the main body. The sheave is disposed at an opposing second end of the boom opposite to the main body. The cable extends from the hoist, along the length of the boom, over the sheave, and downward to the hook assembly. The projection extends outward from the boom and toward the main body.
