Publication number: 20250178089Abstract: Additive manufacturing systems and associated methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the additive manufacturing system includes a build chamber that has an active build region, an energy beam system positioned to direct energy beams toward the active build area, and a controller operably coupled to the energy beam system. During an additive manufacturing process, the controller can control the energy beam system to execute a hybrid sintering process. For example, for a first region of a planned build object, the controller can operate the energy beam system in a continuous wave mode to generate a first energy beam to sinter powder in the first region. Then, for a second region, the controller can operate the energy beam system in a pulsed mode to generate a second energy beam with to sinter the second region.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2023Publication date: June 5, 2025Inventors: Kai Wing Kelvin Leung, Chad Michael Ellison, Kutter L. Kupke, Ramiro Cecchet

Publication number: 20240070647Abstract: The disclosure herein relates to methods and systems of that facilitate instant payment of invoices based on automatic, intelligent, predictions that a buyer will approve an invoice without express input by the buyer. For example, a system may determine a probability that an invoice will be approved for payment by a buyer with express approval from the buyer. Once an invoice is automatically approved for payment, the system may employ various automated systems to facilitate payment to suppliers without the need for suppliers to extract virtual card data or other payment information from email payment requests or other invoice payment requirements to receive payment. For example, the system may generate calls to automatically generate virtual card numbers on behalf of buyers and submit payment messages for payments to suppliers using the virtual card numbers.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: MASTERCARD INTERNATIONAL INCORPORATEDInventors: Anthony DEBELLIS, Shlomo Akiva MAYER, Aazum SHAIKH, Travis BROWN, Kelvin LEUNG, Robert PACIFICO

Publication number: 20070179560Abstract: An electrical stimulation device for a body part of a person comprises an orthosis with sensor and electrodes and a controller. The controller receives a sensor signal, compares the sensor signal to a threshold value and generates an electrical output from the electrodes if the sensor signal exceeds the threshold value. The controller comprises a calibration module for determining an initial resting position of the body part.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 8, 2007Publication date: August 2, 2007Inventors: Kai-Yu Tong, Arthur Mak, Kelvin Leung
