  • Publication number: 20250049598
Abstract: Systems and methods for treatment of an aortic tear or dissection (such as in the thoracic aortic region) are provided. Some methods disclosed herein include inserting an endoprosthesis near an inlet flap of an aortic tear or dissection, inserting an infusion catheter near the inlet flap of the aortic tear or dissection, positioning said infusion catheter between an outer surface of the endoprosthesis and an aortic wall, expanding the endoprosthesis so that the infusion catheter is in contact with aortic tissue near the inlet flap, infusing a stabilization treatment compound through the infusion catheter, wherein the stabilization treatment compound comprises a contrast media agent, a stabilizing agent, and one or more excipients, and removing the infusion catheter.

  • Patent number: 12144506
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of producing high purity pentagalloyl glucose (PGG), analogues or derivatives thereof, at least 99.9% pure, by washing with dimethyl ether. The PGG may be provided in a kit, including a hydrolyzer for dissolving the PGG and a saline solution. Also disclosed herein is a device for delivery of a therapeutic solution to a blood vessel. The device may be a catheter having an upstream balloon and a downstream balloon. The upstream balloon may be expanded to anchor the catheter and occlude antegrade blood flow. The downstream balloon may be expanded to occlude retrograde blood flow, creating a sealed volume within the blood vessel. The downstream balloon may have pores configured to deliver the therapeutic solution into the sealed volume or a portion of the sealed volume The downstream balloon may be expanded by an expansion of a balloon disposed inside the downstream balloon.

  • Publication number: 20200115609
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to enzyme formulations and methods of using the enzyme formulations to reduce the viscosity of fluids used in hydrocarbon recovery. Some embodiments provide particles for well treatment, where the particles comprise an acidifier carrier and an enzyme co-encapsulated within a shell. The particles can, for example, allow a delayed or controlled release of the enzyme in a high temperature, high pressure environment.

  • Patent number: 9242068
Abstract: An infusion catheter includes a catheter body having a proximal end, a distal end, and two or more lumens extending therethrough. The infusion catheter also includes an infusion tube having a proximal end, a distal end, and one or more ports disposed therethrough. The first lumen of the catheter body is in fluid communication with the lumen of the infusion tube. A central member has a distal end connected to the distal end of the infusion tube, a proximal end, and a proximal portion slidably received in the second lumen of the catheter body. The infusion tube is disposed relative to the central member such that axial advancement of the central member relative to the catheter body radially collapses the infusion tube over the central member and axial retraction of the central member relative to the catheter body radially expands the infusion tube about the central member.
