Publication number: 20090050580Abstract: To provide a filtering apparatus and a filtering method, in which dewater performance is improved while downsizing of the apparatus is achieved. The filtering apparatus includes a cylindrical or conical inner screen 1 and an outer screen 2 which are concentrically disposed and a spiral fixed wall 3 which is disposed in a filtering room 4 between the inner screen 1 and the outer screen 2. Only the inner screen 1 and/or the outer screen 2 are/is rotated about a shaft center while the spiral fixed wall 3 is not rotated. During this manipulation process, a treated feed is fed into the filtering room 4 from one end of the filtering room 4, thus treated liquid is filtered through the inner screen 1, and is filtered through the outer screen 2, so that each filtrate is discharged to the outside, and a cake is discharged from the other end of the filtering room 4.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 2, 2006Publication date: February 26, 2009Inventors: Dai Takao, Ken Abe, Takashi Murazawa, Kotaro Neo, Masuhiro Sato, Motomi Ono

Patent number: 6524117Abstract: An electric connecting apparatus provides electrical connection of two electric components by fitting a plurality of male terminals into mating female terminals. If the male terminals have different lengths, for example, the male terminals are fitted into the female terminals in an order of a longer one to a shorter one. In this case, the inserting force that is needed for the entire array of male terminals at the time the two electric components are connected together does not reach a peak at one time, but the inserting forces for the individual male terminals reach peaks one after another. This can permit the two electric components to be connected together with a less labor.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2000Date of Patent: February 25, 2003Assignee: The Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masakazu Murakami, Ken Abe, Shin Hasegawa

Patent number: 6268663Abstract: This invention proposes a control device for an electric source supply, providing a function which prevents battery death of a vehicle. A lamp main relay turns a lamp main relay 3 off in case an ignition switch 1a is off and also when a door state is not changed over time T1 which is predetermined with a timer Tm1, and cuts off an electric source supply to an interior dome lamp 5, door lamps 6a, 6b, 6c of D-seat, P-seat, R-seat in order to prevent battery death. Further, a door/interior dome lamp control part 2c turns the interior dome lamp 5 and the door lamps in response to opened-doors off when doors are not closed more than time T2 which is predetermined with timer means Tm2 in order to prevent battery death. A warning signal may be generated before the control for preventing battery death or during the control mode for preventing battery death.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 1999Date of Patent: July 31, 2001Assignee: Furukawa Electric., Ltd.Inventors: Ken Abe, Shigeki Itabashi, Hiroshi Tutumi, Masaaki Imamura

Patent number: 6242693Abstract: An overhead power transmission line formed by stranding at least one outwardly projecting strand at the outermost layer of an overhead power transmission line formed by a plurality of strands. At least the outwardly projecting portion of the outwardly projecting strand is composed of an organic material. The outwardly projecting strand has a projection height H within a range defined as 1.5 mm≦H≦7.0 mm. By setting the projection height H of the outwardly projecting strand equal to or larger than 1.5 mm, the wind noise characteristic can be conspicuously improved. Further, by setting H≦7.0 mm, the outwardly projecting strand comprised by an organic material is made easily crushable, so the gripping portions of spacers, dampers, and other parts which have been conventionally used can be used as they are.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2000Date of Patent: June 5, 2001Assignee: The Furukawa Electric Co., LtdInventors: Ken Abe, Takeo Munakata, Takashi Shinohara
