    Abstract: An oil pan assembly is disclosed that includes an oil filter, and an oil pan receiving the filter. The oil pan includes a reservoir defining a drain aperture for selectively draining fluid out of the oil pan, and a wall defining a filter cavity in fluid communication with a receiving passage and a sending passage of the oil pan. The oil pan further includes a filter cover assembly, including a cover securing the oil filter within the filter cavity, a filter drain tube extending from the cover through the filter cavity and into a drain passage, and a plug disposed on the filter drain tube, the plug selectively sealing the drain passage. The drain passage allows fluid communication between the filter cavity and the reservoir. The filter drain tube is configured to receive filtered oil from the oil filter.

    Abstract: A vessel for accumulating water removed from a hydrocarbon fuel supply is disclosed. The vessel may include a base member and a cover cooperating with the base member to define a reservoir for receiving a liquid. The cover defines a pocket that may be integrally formed with the cover, the pocket generally preventing intrusion of the liquid in the reservoir. The vessel further includes a liquid level sensor, including a switch received in the pocket, and an actuator configured to activate the switch when the fluid within the reservoir reaches a predetermined level.

The method can be used with any visually-displayed medium that is represented in any type of color space. An identified image can be authenticated, registered, marked, compared to another image, or recognized using the method and apparatus according to the present invention. At least one characteristic of an image's color space is selected and determined to generate a unique description of the image. This identification information is then used to compare different identified images to determine if they are identical according to a set of predetermined criteria. The predetermined criteria can be adjusted to permit the identification of images that are identical in part. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, a software search application, such as a search engine or a spider, is used to locate and retrieve an image to be identified from an electronic network.

The user may create, edit and manipulate a user's object database (dynamically translated into a set of relational database structures), to create, edit and manipulate objects for that object database (dynamically translated into data for those relational database structures), and to create, edit and manipulate queries to be applied to that object database (dynamically translated into queries to be applied to those relational database structures). A meta-model of the user's object database, which is itself an object database, and which has itself been translated into a set of relational database structures for manipulation by a relational database engine. The meta-model comprises a set of classes, objects, and relationships between classes which model the classes and relationships between classes of the system.
