Publication number: 20230399613Abstract: The present invention provides an isolated cell composition suitable for adoptive immunotherapy, as well as methods of manufacturing the cell compositions and methods of treatment with the cell compositions. The composition comprises, in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, at least about 106 CD8+ T cells specific for target peptide antigen(s). In various embodiments, the composition is predominately CD8+ T cells, and at least about 20% of T cells in the composition exhibit a central or effector memory phenotype, providing for a robust and durable adoptive therapy from a natural T cell repertoire that has undergone natural selection.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 18, 2022Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventors: Mathias OELKE, Kristi JONES, Sojung KIM, Lauren SUAREZ, Ken CARTER, Scott CARMER, Dan BEDNARIK

Patent number: 11389690Abstract: A fitness machine enabling several lunge and squat-style exercises comprises a frame that provides the basic structure of the machine. The frame includes a set of horizontal beams and a set of vertical beams creating a rectangular interior exercise space for a user to stand. A handle is included with each horizontal guide rail that slides forward and backward along the horizontal guide rail. The horizontal guide rail is movably connected between two of the vertical guide rails such that the horizontal guide rail freely slides up and down the vertical guide rails, ensuring that the horizontal guide rail maintains a parallel relationship with the floor throughout the entire range of motion during use. The handles and the horizontal guide rails significantly improve the user's balance during the exercise, eliminating unnecessary stress on the knees, hips, and lower back.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2019Date of Patent: July 19, 2022Assignee: KONDITION, INC.Inventors: Daniel Carlos Valdez, Ken Carter

Patent number: 11083928Abstract: An exercise machine. The machine includes a frame with front and rear upper support beams. Guide rails span between the two support beams and are connected thereto. Right and left handles are configured to slide back and forth along the length of the guide rails between the front and rear support beams. During operation of the machine, a user grabs the handles and moves them back and forth in a swinging motion that mimics traversing a set of monkey bars. The guide rails may be arranged in a non-parallel configuration to provide a more natural path for the user's hands during operation and to reduce unwanted stress on the user's shoulders by limiting handle movement along the path to accommodate a more comfortable range of motion.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2019Date of Patent: August 10, 2021Assignee: KONDITION, INC.Inventors: Daniel Carlos Valdez, Ken Carter

Patent number: 6285398Abstract: A CCD video camera is coupled to a host system. The CCD video camera captures image data representing elements in its field of view. The video camera does not include a digital signal processing circuit for processing the raw video data into the appropriate video format. The raw video data is processed and converted into the appropriate video format for display by the host computer system after it is received from the video camera. Necessary gain adjustments and control signals are calculated within the host computer and provided to the video camera or used during the digital signal processing of the video data to adjust the parameters of the data before the video images are displayed. A histogram is generated in order to continually monitor and adjust the exposure and gain of the system and thereby appropriately change the necessary control signals for optimal performance.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 1998Date of Patent: September 4, 2001Assignees: Sony Corporation, Sony Electronics, Inc.Inventors: Michael Shinsky, Michael Yukelson, Leonid Milenky, Ken Carter
