  • Patent number: 11006171
Abstract: An online system receives information describing a collection of objects associated with a third-party system and an objective associated with each object. Upon receiving a request to present content associated with the third-party system to a user of the online system, the online system determines one or more groups in which each object is included based on a condition satisfied by objects included in each group. For each of multiple formats that may be used to present each group of objects, the online system computes a format score indicating a predicted likelihood that the user will perform a set of actions corresponding to a set of objectives associated with the group if the format is used. The online system selects a format for presenting each group of objects based on the format scores and/or a set of format selection rules and generates the user interface using the selected format(s).

  • Publication number: 20060203090
Abstract: A video surveillance system includes multiple video cameras. The surveillance system is configured with an arrangement to separate the surveillance functions and assign different surveillance functions to different cameras. A master camera is assigned the surveillance of large area surveillance and tracking of object movement while one or more slave cameras are provided to dynamically rotate and adjust focus to obtain clear image of the moving objects as detected by the master camera. Algorithms to adjust the focus-of-attention are disclosed to effectively carry out the tasks by a slave camera under the command of a master camera to obtain images of a moving object with clear feature detections.

  • Patent number: 6235995
Abstract: An FPC assembly (10) includes a circuit unit (12) with two different pitch arrangement connectors (14, 16) at two opposite ends. The circuit unit (12) includes a signal FPC (18) and a grounding FPC (20). A buffer layer (22) with adhesives on two opposite surfaces (24, 26) is sandwiched between the signal FPC (18) and the grounding FPC (20), and thus the signal FPC (18), the buffer layer (22) and the grounding FPC (20) are adhesively fastened with one another as one circuit unit (12). The signal FPC (18), the buffer layer (22) and the grounding FPC (20) respectively include contact tail holes (34, 35) at two opposite ends for receivable engagement with the corresponding contact tails (36, 37) of the connectors (14, 16).
